Nice enough but now gone, the locals think forever. Was a time when Oliver Reed used to knock on the door at 10am demanding a drink.

Food is very good, staff are welcoming and friendly. Beautiful setting. This place has had many landlords over the years, let's hope it does not change again.

for lunch on a cold winters day. The fires were roaring, the pub was quiet, the landlady was very friendly and welcoming and to top it all the food was wonderful. Will definitely be back.

We visited this pub for the first time and it definitely will not be the last. Walked in to a very friendly welcome and big log fires. (our dog was even given a biscuit on arrival!) The food is fantastic, and excellent value for money....More

We visited today with our 19 month old son. We extremly dissapointed that this pub does not cater for young diners. No highchairs, childrens menu or baby change facilities. They do have a play area who the waitress was trying to say they accomdate children...More
