This unpretentious village pub was recommended to us by the receptionist at the nearby Travelodge. We chose the guinea-fowl breasts from the Specials menu & they came in a cream, mushroom & brandy sauce (and youreally could taste the brandy!) My husband opted for chips &...More
Arrived at 7. 00 p.m. on a Sunday following a long delay on A1. Only a few people in pub but refused to serve food as we hadn't booked. No consideration at all to hungry visitors. Locals preferred perhaps.More
