Great food, but be ready for a long dinner - they are not known for speedy service. Have never tried the Ethiopian choices, but have always heard good things from the neighbors about it.

My husband and I had our first dinner date at Puccini's 10 years ago. We've only been back once since then because it just isn't authentic Italian. The decor is tired and the menu is uninspiring. Parking is not good and the restaurant is surrounded...More
This restaurant was so much better 15 years ago. Really just mediocre now, especially when considering the price. Wish they would take the Ethiopian place out and change back to how it was before. That Ethiopian place was terrible and we waited for EVER for...More
Came back to iu to celebrate my 3yr anniversary. Quickly found out that they don't serve beer only wine. Bread was dry -- my wife choked on it. No beer? This is college town USA! Come on.
The food was authentic and well prepared. Everything was delicious. The restaurant itself is an old house. It has been beautifully redone. It is a very intimate place to dine. It would be a great romantic location. It is quiet and easy to have conversations....More

Title says it all. Waiter was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was very nice. The food was terrible. Our gnocci was mushy, the tomato sauce was too salty and watery, everything else was uninspired.
The best thing you can say about this restaurant is that they always have tables and wine. The food used to be good, but has gone downhill in the past year. The calamari was so salty it was almost inedible. The lasagna was mushy and...More
We used to eat here frequently and it has slowly declined. The ambiance is still nice, but the service is lousy. We stood for so long at the hostess station and finally we just went back to the bar. Then we sat at the bar...More
We went to Puccini's to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. It had been a while since we had been there. My husband has been an Executive Chef at several restaurants in the past and we almost always dine at non-chain restaurants. We had looked at...More
