Good sushi is pretty hard to find in Greece. We went here for the all you can eat special. We tried 5 of the rolls, some not so great, others were just average. Not good enough to get the full benefit of all you can...More

Protected location in what was formerly, long ago called Amsterdam because of socio-chemical adversities, presently serene suburbia, corner of a square, friendly staff, established recipes but little else. Less popular than it used to be. proper ingredients, long preparation time despite the few customers. A...More

One of the least pretentious Japanese restaurants in Greece.. It also gives the impression that it may be one of the few Japanese places in Athens with native Japanese chefs; as one can see as soon as he walks in the restaurant.. A well hidden...More

This is one for the first sushi places in Athens and it still serves great sushi food. The quality is great though it is a bit pricey.

The Sushi bar would like to thank you for your rate!

Failed twice to fulfil previously agreed discount conditions, despite clearly stated both over the phone, as well as upon arrival. Personnel behaviour too rude, trying to push responsibility to the customer for their incompetence. Do avoid going their despite the decent food.

Food quality was and remains excellent. Service is also more than acceptable and pleasant. However, the price changes make the once somewhat approachable and affordable restaurant more and more dissuasive for most.

Personally, the Sushi Bar is the best sushi bar in Athens for me. It is neither the most expensive, nor the most exclusive. However it is casual, affordable and excellent quality sushi. They have a wide range of dishes and every single one of them...More

The food was very poorly executed. They brought Temakis what were massive (that you would think should have been a good thing) that were inedible. Edamame that were hard and hairy... The rest of the order was executed with no flair or imagination. The place...More

It's sushi alright, but with a touch of inspiration that takes the sushi experience into a higher level. Every plate we ordered was a unique experience of flavor combination. I've been to several sushi restaurants so far- even abroad, yet never have I seen such...More

The Sushi bar is the first chain of Japanese Restaurants in Greece that specializes in sushi. Starting in 1996 with the first The Sushi Bar at Pangrati-Athens, we moved on to the creation of three more sushi restaurants in Glyfada, Neo Psichiko & Paleo Faliro. At The Sushi bar we are highly focused on selecting and using the best ingredients, following very closely the Japanese values. We combine the freshest raw materials, the delicate texture and the colors in order to maintain the finest balance of the Japanese taste and offer an absolute experience. In The Sushi bar restaurants you will enjoy a welcoming and minimal ambiance, with esthetic elements from NYC sushi restaurants. In the open kitchen, specialized Asian sushi masters prepare daily before you fresh fish fillets (sashimi) and the very popular rolls (maki). For the last 20 years The Sushi bar remains a reference sushi restaurant in Athens' gastronomic map. The secret of our long-lasting success is the excellent quality of raw materials, our perfect knowledge of Japanese cuisine, the ideal combination of authentic materials and our welcoming disposition.
