Atmosphere is nice but chairs are rather uncomfortable. Enjoyed the music. Food took forever and was not good. Service was mediocre. Would certainly recommend their ice cream.

I had visited here some years ago with co-workers, but I wanted to take my wife back for a nice Saturday afternoon experience. We enjoyed this historic, beautiful little restaurant with food and ice cream. We both had sandwiches and soup. My wife had the ham and cheese with chicken tortilla soup. She said they were both very good. I... More

Beautiful. Historic. Great ice cream and food. Waitress staff great, especially Adrian. She was kind and quick.

The history happening this building is amazing. The only thing better than that is the ice cream. Everything was delicious!!! And watching them prepare everything made us feel like we were there in the 1900s. The music, the atmosphere the old architecture. The homemade ice cream!!! I would gladly wait a few extra minutes for the old time experience!! I... More

I have lived in Columbus most of my life. I have gone to Zaharako's for years! The atmosphere is fun and the ice cream and soda choices are great! Bit of advice, eat before you get there. The food is awful! We have tried many times. I used to love the gom cheeseburger but no more. The food is usually... More

In Columbus, a person can journey from the modern architecture to the old fashion ice cream parlor in a matter of a few blocks. Zaharako's is sheer beauty. It takes you back to yester year with grace and beauty. The musical organs with multiple instruments playing is such a treat to hear. People of all ages will enjoy Zaharako's and... More

A wonderful place for kids to see the way it was back in the day. Watch the pipe organ and other music boxes. This place was a hangout for high school dates, started by the Zaharako brothers, and a place for part time jobs. The present owners have did a great job of restoring to a time in the past.

We were a group of 10...8 children & 2 adults. They managed to place us in a booth in the back where all of us could sit together. Ice cream was good! Servers and hostess were fantastic. Interesting little museum to occupy the time while we waited to be seated (bring quarters for banjo-music box!).

Amazing preserved soda fountain, ice cream parlor. Good food, better antique music boxes--antique 'jukeboxes with real instruments, pipes, instead of records. .
