I love Thai Food. I have eaten at several restaurants and with the exception of one they were all good. Thai Spice however rises above them all. I have never gotten a bad meal here. Service has always been good and the cooking staff willing...to accommodate some of my more interesting requests. This is my go to place for Thai.More
All prices on the menu are not what we were charged. Overcharged on every dish and drinks as well. Wine was supposed to be $5 but charged $6.50. When I questioned about the discrepancies they said they were trying to get their menus updated. Not...my problem-just don't charge more than advertised. Not very happy with the lame excuse. Next time we will fight to pay the listed menu price.More
The 2 servers were very quick and very helpful explaining the various dishes. Our server was constantly checking on us and offering helpful tips. The food was very good and was more than enough for 1 meal so now I can enjoy the food again...at home! Will definitely visit here again. Many vegetarian choices also. Plum wine is awesome.More
Can never say anything bad about this place. The food is consistent every visit and sets the standard for Thai food in the area. I typically get the sweet and sour dish. The soup and egg roll starter is simply delicious. The appetizers rock at...this place. Make a meal of the sampler.More
My wife , daughter and I ate here. It's a small place but very friendly. The food was excellent. We shared our dishes with each other so we could get a taste of several different dishes. I recommend this place if you like Thai food.
If the food weren’t the best Thai around, I would not make this my first stop on every trip to Indy. The restaurant is usually full, staff is confused, bring appetizers at the same time or after the entrees, serve people who come later than...we do before us.... I could say more. BUT, the food makes the wait and the aggravation worth the visit. Delivery is available, which obviates much of the on-site stress. Favorites are spring rolls, Masaman Curry and Pad Prik King. Portions are generous, and we go home with left-overs which are great later on.More
Food was good. took a bit for entree to come out but it was worth the wait. only thing i would really complain about was the service and the environment. the floor needs to be a bit cleaner. when i was there i seen fried...rice on the ground here and there. the staff worked there some of them don't know English. We had a bit of misunderstanding but overall the food was tasty! 東西好吃但服務可以更好,用餐環境地板有很多飯粒油煙味也很重,服務人員鮮少微笑,有些還不懂英文,希望店家可以改進。More
We get carry out 1-2 times a month. Pad Thai with chicken is awesome. I get Thai hot and it's tastes perfect. Their dumplings are also very good.
Very unassuming place, under the radar but surprisingly very good food. Will go back again and recommend to family and friends.
I've been to many Thai restaurants and this one is hands-down the best in the city. Their Padd See Ew is delicious and I love their summer rolls–both are my go-to items. The cashew pineapple fried rice is also a another great dish to try.
The Thai Spice I remember in Greenwood was on County Line Road. I think they moved just a bit west to a larger space. I expected the same food as I remembered. My wife and I came for lunch. There was no longer a "Lunch...Menu." The prices were a bit higher than I expected, but they may be in line with current pricing. We ordered Pad Thai with Pork and Fried Tofu to share. The Tofu was good, with sweet sauce. The Pad Thai was a bit disappointing: although taste was OK and there was plenty of pork, the noodles were a bit soggy, which made everything taste a bit bland. Definitely I have had better Pad Thai. In the end, I was glad I tried it again after so many years, but I doubt that I will be back.More
We made reservations for a party of 7 and And arrived a little early. They were very accommodating to us and we were seated in the west dining area with all other guest seated in the east dining area. The food was very tasty however...it did make my glucose spike, so diabetics be careful.More
All stars of Thai food. Best of Greenwood. Appetizer platter is great start to a perfect dining experience. The wings have a unique flavor and are to die for. Chicken on a stick so favorable melts in your mouth. Best ever chili sauce for egg...rolls. Portions great on main courses and flavors as outstanding as appetizers. The spicy versions will light you up lol!More
I'm not trying to be mean spirited here but wanting to provide my honest feedback about my takeout dinner at Thai Spice. I travel on a regular basis for work. One of my regular choices of food I look for when traveling is Thai. It...allows me to eat healthy. I read many of the reviews about Thai Spice before ordering my dinner. To be honest my first instinct was to try elsewhere. Unfortunately I did not listen to my instinct as I was disappointed in my main dish. First of all I ordered take out. The young gentleman on the phone was pleasant and welcoming. When I picked up my order I'm pretty sure it was the same young man and he did a very good job. I ordered the Tom Yum Soup with shrimp. The soup did have a good flavor and I did enjoy it. The problem was my main entrée which was the Padd King. I had tofu for my choice of protein. I also added extra vegetables to the dish. The tofu was good. The problem. I ordered medium spice. As many of the other reviewers stated there was no spice at all. I didn't expect blazing but where was the spice? There was also way too much liquid with the dish. So much liquid that the vegetables were drowning in it. Instead of enjoying the taste or even crunch of the vegetables I couldn't. They were all soggy and all tasted the same. To their credit they did give a good portion of vegetables. I am by no means an expert on Thai food-and realize that everyone has their own tastes- but compared to many other Thai restaurants I've visited in my travels this particular meal missed the mark. If in the area I probably would try elsewhere.More
