High end food and customer service. They make you feel important and the food is great. Nice jazz combo.

This is the second time I've been to Chef Joseph's. I travel to Indy several times a year for business, and I'm always looking for good local restaurants to try. I had a good experience the first time I was there, so I added it to my "must go" list for future trips. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The food was... More

The food and wine are top notch. The ambiance is great with the big velvet booths and live entertainment. Broadway sing along night is really fun.

Everything sounded appealing, but tasted just ok. Had chicken & jalapeño meatballs for app, wedge salad, scallop & shrimp main course , creme brûlée for dessert. Salad & dessert were great, thought it odd that seafood served by itself on plate, no rice, veggies, nothing. Tasted very bland. Plus biggest disappointment : we ordered champagne & it was not cold!... More

We celebrated a family member's birthday on a Wednesday night at Chef Joseph's. We got there early and ordered the fantastic sea bass. We didn't know how wonderful the evening was going to be. Around 7, song books were passed out with Broadway and pop song lyrics. Scott and Sean kicked it off with a few songs. Then the audience... More

We gave ourselves an hour and a half for dinner before our first Indy Symphony visit and first visit to Chef Joseph's. When we came in the host looked us up and down and said rather cattily, 'Well, well, don't WE look spiffy!' I could sense a bit of a snotty attitude here towards middle-aged people. We let him know... More

As we do every year we used "Devour Downtown" as an excuse to try new restaurants and we are so glad that one of our choices this year was Chef Joseph's! Beautiful decor, lovely ambiance, quality entertainment and a great wine list. The "Devour" menu was excellent and the empanada and the scallops were truly special. We will definitely go... More

The dining room reminds me of going back to a rat pack place. Tall 15 foot doors enter into a a great room with duvets for seating at big tables. Also regular style table seating. The staff greats you like and old friend. There is also entertainment. Great piano music. First by a soloist playing The Sting style of music... More

Had dinner as part of Devour Downtown Indy discovery. LOVED LOVED LOVED the venue. Rich decor and style. The host/maitre d treats everyone like a VIP. Servers are spot on. I tried a grapefruit fizz drink - ended up staying longer just so I could have more - my new favorite. The devour menu gave us an empanade, scallops and... More

We stopped in when we were downtown for a business meeting. The food was good, but for the price we paid, it wasn't that good. The atmosphere and the piano were a nice touch.
