Don't over dress :-) don't overeat. Great food, tasted good and fresh. Generous portion size for whatever you order plus unlimited sides. The sides are filling and you'd be doing well to finish more than a couple of them, red beans, spicy creole, chilli, coleslaw etc. Had a roast port wrap with 2 sides. Prices good also.

Free sides? Yes please! This hole in the wall is a treasure trove of Cajun cuisine. Po boys are fantastic and the free sides were delicious too.

Enjoyed the food and the quirky atmosphere. Some free side dishes with a sandwich ended up being a huge feast and at a reasonable price.

It's a quirky,free-spirited place that offers up good food and good atmosphere. You order at the counter leaving your name (I chose Princess Lea that day) and then when your order is ready they will call our your name and deliver to your table(hence leaving a goofy/unusual name- which is optional ) Decorating the small but quaint dining room is... I was drawn here by the promise of unlimited sides. The sides were unlimited, but they really weren't that good. Etouffe was bland, chili was too spicy, corn bread was dry, and bread pudding wasn't sweet at all...more of a "milky" flavor rather than sweet. The crawfish po boy was really good, but it was way too expensive for what... More

After a long day working, and meeting up with an old friend I had not seen a while, we decided to randomly ask Siri where to eat close to us. Papa Roux's showed up and we took a chance. What a great decision that was! The counter staff were very helpful explaining things, the food was fast, and fantastic. The... More

My friend and I are from out of town and I read online that Papa Roux was the place to go, so we did! The girl at the front counter ( with the colored hair and piercings) was sooo helpful and did an awesome job explaining everything to us newbies. I got the Hot Mess and she got a fish... More

I review Papa Roux once before, but it was before I want gluten free. I wasn't sure how I would like their po boys without their great french bread. But when you order it without bread, they will put it over rice, and the portion is HUGE! I always order a side of cole slaw to add to it, and... More

I have been traveling from Cincinnati to Indiana as often as possible for the sole reason of eating at this restaurant. They have everything from pulled pork and chicken to alligator. Yes! Alligator! You can buy a Po Boy sandwich, loaded to beyond description or just naked. There is all kinds of fish, meat, chicken, etc. You pay for the... More
