We dined at this fine establishment and were overall very satisfied. Jimmy and Kasi our servers were the epitome of friendliness, attention and professionalism. They were both as genuine as the day is long. The food was very tasty and well presented. The portions were...More

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon after a frosty walk around the local area. Lots of muddy boots and two dogs in tow, yet the staff provided the warmest of welcomes. Bar staff had comprehensive knowledge of the local ales and the table...More

Great country pub serving brilliant food. It's worth visiting just to try the rosemary focaccia - some of the best bread I've ever tasted. The menu is seasonal and sensational - no complicated descriptions that turn out to be a plate of lettuce, just great...More

We attended a friends 50th birthday celebration meal here in the private dining room and had a fab night. None of us were local to the area but pub was chosen because of recommendation by friend of friends. Food and staff were both fantastic, the...More

Eventually found this lovely pub, which turned out to be only a short drive from Cirencester. Definitely worth the trip, the food was great quality, think, duck confit with Puy lentil and Vension Shepherds Pie, hearty food cooked with finesse. The staff, what they lacked...More

We visited recently for an early weekday lunch. Has it changed? Yes, in some ways for the better - for example, the welcome and service were much better than on our most recent previous visit (although the interval between courses was a bit too long)....More

We stopped here for a drink on a beautiful sunny autumnal day on a cycle ride from Minchinhampton. It was a slight detour from our planned route but well worth it. Its a gorgeous pub with very welcoming staff and we would definitely like to...More

Hi, Yes, we most certainly are able to look after children, especially early evening - I have a 7 year old daughter myself and she 'road tests' the pub quite often! We have childrens' options on the menu and we're very... More

The Bell has just scooped the 'Best Pub' award in the 2017 'Western Daily Press' Food and Farming Awards and we're over the moon! Situated in the heart of the Cotswolds in the beautiful village of Sapperton, we are a busy yet beautiful old pub. Frequented all year round by walkers, riders, bikers and discerning diners and locals alike. We pride ourselves on consistently being one of the very best pubs in the Cotswolds (and the country, according to our lovely regulars!) for food, drink and relaxed but professional hospitality. The Bell was one of the first real 'gastro' pubs in the early 2000's. We continue to serve up the very best of fresh, regional and seasonal produce, specialising in British dishes, regional beers, cocktails and wines personally and painstakingly selected by ourselves on our many wine trips around the globe. Although we're famous for our top notch food, we're not just a rural restaurant. We welcome well behaved dogs, horses and children for either a casual pop in visit or a pre-booked meal.
