First of all, this is difficult to find because there is no signage. Other than a sign across the street at an extra parking lot, there is no sign. If we hadn't been using GPS, we wouldn't have found it. When we found the entrance, the employees ignored us. We stood there for a few minutes and finally broke into... More

We had lunch and the final product was good. But some hiccups along the way, starting with no hostess to help when we walked in. Missed ingredient on one order and tepid potatoes on another. The potatoes and rest of meal re-heated and all was fine. The setting is pretty impressive. It is an old building, but obviously well cared... More

Beautiful old mansion with lots of history. The food was good but not spectacular. The room we ate in did not have much ambiance and wasn't very romantic for valentine's day. They used to have a very good spinach salad and they still offer one but it was not nearly as good. The apples on my salad were soft and... More

Located in the historic Studebaker mansion, allow time to wander and explore this magnificent building. The Sunday brunch is the most popular meal of the week, and well worth it. The food can be ordered from the menu or the long buffet. Solid food, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, etc.

We stayed next door at the Oliver Mansion and just walked over to the Tippecanoe Place Restaurant. Superb food! A little pricey, but worth every penny. Extra's were included because of a birthday celebration. We had the best time. The antiques are unique and made us feel very special just to set where the Studebaker family lived, Thank you Tippecanoe... More

Our most recent visit to Tippecanoe was for brunch the Saturday after Thanksgiving with our family. Every several years we have a celebratory brunch here during the holidays, because the mansion is pretty and the decorations put us in the holiday spirit. Brunch remains the only meal worth eating (my mom tried it for dinner 2 weeks ago and a... More

Nothing stands out as a must order, but you cannot go wrong with ordering anything that sounds good. All dishes are solid. You are basically paying for the atmosphere while enjoying a find meal

Yummy lunch in a historic spot. Good service, Better food. The roast beef is as good as advertised. The History Museum even provided us with a discount coupon.

Although the setting is beautiful, the food was just average which was a little disappointing. Prime Rib did not come out as requested. Chicken Marsala was just ok. Probably would not return as I'm sure there are better selections in the area. The house is beautiful that's about what I can say and our waiter was very nice.

The setting is everything elegant and opulent from a forgotten age a century ago, and enormous care has been taken to leave the family rooms accessible and tuck the kitchen and service areas into the servant's quarters inside the massive, gorgeous 40-room mansion. We were there for Thanksgiving dinner and it was easily the best holiday dining-out experience I've had.... More
