This is a review of the catering service provided by Bouser’s Barn, not the actual dining experience at the restaurant. If you need catering for an event, I can’t recommend Bouser’s Barn highly enough. It was fantastic and exactly what we needed. We came in to town and were planning a funeral for a Friday, and it was already Tuesday.... More

Ran into the this little place on our way home Labor day weekend. Decent priced for the portions, home made dinners, excellent home made pie, nice local grown goods such as popcorn, relishes, hand made candles and more sold here. Really cool memorabilia on the walls. Clean place, not too loud, very comfortable setting. We could've spent hours just looking... More

Great variety and portions for the price. Fun place to eat with all the memorabilia. Good take out service too.

Whenever my wife and I get a taste for broasted chicken, we head off to Union City, Indiana to Keith and Karen Bousman's restaurant. The vintage pick-up truck that sits out in front gives a hint of what awaits inside the building. For the warmer weather, they have an Amish buggy parked in the median between the customer parking spaces.... More

This place has been my "go-to" spot for broasted chicken for over 30 years. The broasted potatoes are also top notch. I used to get the pizza, but somehow the draw of that juicy chicken has been winning lately

Great little place to eat after you drive through this old railroad town. Cost is very reasonable. A lot of history around here. They restored the old train station very nicely, the old mill is still standing where mules once crushed "cane", Anne Oakley's town of Lone Star is close as well as several reconstructed forts. A very interesting area... More

Stopped for lunch on our way through town. My husband had the tenderloin. My bite of it was quite tasty. I had chicken soft tacos that were bigger than I thought they would be. They were good, but the chicken was a formed patty cut into strip. My teenaged son had the bbq pork sandwich and fries. He scared those... More

Everyone I know loves this place. I do like the chicken. And the decor is awesome with all kinds of local memorabilia entirely covering the walls. But the service always seems a little less than attentive.

Bousers Barn has the best broasted chicken ever!! Perfectly hot and crispy on the outside, tender on the inside....every time!! Also great pizza, subs and ice cream!! Their Flurries have as much candy as ice cream. The service is great but everything is made to order...well worth the wait!! Not to mention, the owner has an amazing display of memorabilia... More
