Excellent steak.Nice owners. No kids meals pricing but kids appear to be welcomed. We got lost leaving when we turned the wrong way out of the long, gravel driveway so signs pointed back to West Baden or French Lick would be great. Fortunately, we finished eating before night overtook the area and my husband's work cellphone has Verizon. He was... More

We love the 1875 Steak House in French Lick but the CrazyHouse Ranch was a better steak at 1/3 the price. Family owned and operated so everything was proudly served.

We were staying at the West Baden and looking for a local place to grab some food that wasn't crowed. This place was such a cool setting and the food was outstanding. The owner cooks all the meats on a wood fire grill on the patio. The barn offers some accommodation in a very quaint country setting. While we did... More

This place is our "go to" for dinner each time we are in the area. Tonight we really needed to just soak in the peace and quiet along with the fantastic food. We were not disappointed. Both of us had ribeyes coojed to order along with potato, bread and their special vegetables salad. some nice people in from OH who... More

We were there with friends just to have dinner. Such a nice peaceful place off the beaten path. The food was awesome. I had the Porterhouse steak cooked medium and it was fantastic. We discussed coming back next year and staying in the lodge. It was a great place.

We didn't stay at the ranch this trip but we did make a reservation for dinner. The restaurant itself is comfortable in a "ranchy" way. Service was casual--the owner/chef came out a few times and talked to us or those around us. As I had read from other reviews, there are instruments on the wall and it's completely okay to... More

We found this gem 3 years ago and when we decided to visit the area again, we made our plans around our visit to the Crazyhorse Ranch for dinner. They have lodging and open up to the public for dinner on the weekends. They serve the BEST RIBEYE I have ever had. You have to make reservations and let them... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the Crazyhorse Ranch & Lodge -- and wished we could have stayed longer.. We stayed in the RV area -- which included water and electric-- picnic table, nice fire pit and a hitching post overlooking the fishing pond-- and a distance away from the resort. It was so absolutely peaceful, quiet and... More

We didn't know reservations were required, but they were kind enough to serve the two of us anyway. We ate some of the best steaks we've ever eaten. Everyone was super friendly.
