Yeah they got beer. Yeah they got eggs. Yeah yeah yeah. It's an old style family place with good wholesome 'murcan food. Stuff you'd see in 1950s ads. Potatoes and steaks. Cakes and bacon. You know the type. And you love it. You really can't go wrong unless you're thinking this is a 5* French restaurant with smooth waiters and... More

I used to eat at the old downtown Bettendorf location years ago quite a bit. There was some nostalgia to it and you expected a sassy waitress with a southern drawl-type greasy spoon. Me and a friend waited a while after opening of the new location to try it out so the wrinkles would be ironed out by then. We... More

When my wife and I overnight in Davenport we usually eat a light breakfast and then go somewhere for lunch. On this trip we decided to eat a bit later and have a full breakfast. I had read about Ross's and always wanted to go to the original and just never got there. The new location is nice and it... More

We love this place--it's on our itinerary when friends come from out-of-town--but we often go there just because we always get good food and good service. We place a high value on spending our money at small local businesses. This restaurant not only treats its employees like family, it sources a large portion of its ingredients from small local farms.... More

We tried out the new location. The food was the same diner type food, very basic. The service was great. The atmosphere is very basic like a family restaurant. The prices were a little hight

I used to go to Ross' when it was down by the river. The new location is very nice. It is more open, but still has friendly staff and great food. I wasn't sure how I would like the change, but I think the new location has an even better feel. If you haven't been to Ross' in awhile, I... More

The only good thing I can say was that the homemade hamburger buns were great. I guess steamed hamburger must not be my thing. I don't know what Barak Obama thought of it, but I was disappointed to say the least. Lack of flavor on a grand scale. ☹️️

FOR YEARS I went to Ross' in the wee hours, after a nite of fun 'n' live music. I don't stay out so late anymore, but still love my Magic Mountain visits (there are more new variations these days), or sometimes we do breakfast, with local fresh farm eggs the highlight!! It seems just when I get the need for... More

Favorite breakfast place in the QC! We split the morning mountain. A nice compliment to it is the mimosas!

Whenever we have eaten there, the food was very good and so was the service. We've even gone there for small meetings and they have been very accommodating to everyone.
