Great pupusas and fried plantains. Food was tasty and owner and servers were friendly. Food was a little slow but it was worth it.

We hadn't had authentic pupusas since Belize so decided to give ESDM a try. As you drive up you'll see the restaurant's exterior has an older, well used look to it (as does the interior). What you might not notice is the glass front door facing 6th Ave is not the entrance. There is a fenced parking lot to the... More

Don Carlos is the name of the co-owner. Bona Blanca the leader in the kitchen and co-owner. This humble Salvadorian family are always open to share good uplifting and funny conversations with any and all of their clients. This is such an immersion into a part of the Latin American culture, my wife and I always go to eat or... More

This is really a nice hidden gem. The place might scare you a little when you look at it from the outside, but it is worth the trip. You get great bang for you money and the people are very friendly. Do not expect to get your food quickly, but expect it to be good! Give it a try and... More

This place is EXCELLENT. The owners are Christians and so alcohol is not served...which means no rowdiness. A TV is usually on showing soccer from somewhere in the world. The horchata here is killer as are the pupusas. The tamales are great as well. You can eat pretty cheap here as well. Usual central american offerings like fried plantains, beans,... More

Great home made food. If you're in a hurry, call to order in advance. It is worth the wait if you have time. We eat "in" sometimes, but usually order take out. It's the genuine thing. Highly recommend it. The owner might be a bit of a character, but its all part of the package.

A nice hole in the wall joint. If you're in a hurry, don't come here. Everything is made from scratch and will take decent time to prepare the food. A unique menu worthy of trying something new. It feels like a different world in here, give it a try sometime.

I don't leave a lot of reviews, but they just earned a 5-star. I experienced very friendly staff, awesome home cooked food, and a great value. Today, I was in the mood for something healthy - it ended up perfect spot. It's looks small from the outside but it is clean and cozy on the inside. The food is awesome;check... More

The owner is a real jerk. Had to leave after waiting for over an hour for food. My diabetic mom needed some food. Would never go back. The owner was really condescending.

I go here frequently. My coworkers and I order their pupusas a lot. They're delicious. They don't deliver which is too bad and they should probably change that on their carry out menu too. Make sure to call in your order much in advance as they take a bit long to cook.
