Had a lovely Sunday roast at The Saddle. Had heard good things and as a vegetarian it can be hard to find somewhere with a decent offering for Sunday lunch. I was pleased to see an option that allowed me to have all the roast trimmings as this isn't always offered. My partner ordered the lamb & I had the... More

Changing of staff again! New chef is great. Portions are smaller but tasty. Prices have gone up too. Puddings are bought in and generic to lots of places and way too expensive, at £5 each an absolute rip off.

The service we received was excellent. the food was out of this world and there was a good choice, although limited, all needs were catered for. The food was cooked fresh and came out... More

Visited Sunday to try out the new Chef. One lamb roast dinner, one beef roast dinner. Both cooked beautifully. The accompanying vegetables were varied and more than enough for two persons. The landlord was helping out with a busy lunch time but we didn't have to wait. This is a pub with a good selection of real ales. The food... More

I moved the village eight months ago and The Saddle has become a favourite haunt. The food is very well done with a regularly changing menu. We only tend to eat in the pub when we have visitors but each time that we have eaten there we have never been disappointed. There is a wide selection of beers and spirits... More

Please read to the end otherwise you may get the wrong idea!! Went to The Saddle on Remembrance Sunday for a family lunch after watching the Kimbolton School CCF parade - thoroughly recommended. After a very last minute decision for 6 of us to go for Sunday lunch, we were told the saddle was fully booked. We popped in for a drink anyway and the lovely Freddie told us they could fit us in but there would be a bit of a wait for food. We sat down and Jack came over to... More
