Lovely little cottage style pub, tasty HUGE portions, lots of choice. Beware of some funny looks and 'banter' if you're not local though!!

Lovely pub, friendly locals and landlord serving excellent food. Be warned though, the portions are very generous! Heartily recommended.

The food was gorgeous. I had monk fish in a white sauce. Delicate in flavour and perfectly cooked. The pub was cosy and warm with a roaring fire on our cold December night. Friendly staff too. Top place

What a fantastic, traditional country pub. From the moment we walked in with our friends and 2 retrievers we were greeted by a warm welcome, sat in the bar by a roaring fire. An excellent pint and wonderful homemade food. Possibly one of the best pubs I've ever visited. Thanks guys

Went with friends who knew the place since it is hard to find at night. It was full of locals which was always a good starting point. It is very cosy and the table and chairs are very close to each other. The food choices were very good and we enjoyed a good meal with local ales. Do look at... More

Red Fox Barn b&b booked ahead for us. The service was very good, and the wine and locally produced food was delicious. Atmosphere was just what you would expect when eating in a traditional Inn.

My wife and I had a lovely meal at the Bolingey Inn. The only slight criticism is that our table was tucked away in a corner but at least we were able to talk quietly. Very attractive pub but advisable to book. We tried the following day only to find that it was fully booked. Two wines, two pints of... More

Drove past this quaint little pub tonight and decided to call in. Didn't have a reservation but the staff gave us a table. My husband and I ordered the sword fish steak and all I can say is WOW, what amazing food and great portions. We had the Banoffee pie for sweet this was to die for. The food was... More
