not one person in the airliner seemed happy to be there, their pizza was all crust and the servers wanted to be done with work and it was obvious! would much rather have a frozen pizza at home and wouldn't have to be tipped!!
We went early afternoon, it was super slow. The food was basic. My salad had plastic wrap in it. I waited for the waitress to come check on us so I could tell her but she never came. I had to go find someone to...More
This is by far the PIZZA STOP in Iowa City...An absolute fantastic adventure...The crust was an ultimate experience...We were advised to avoid the timing of student influx...A must visit stop

Reserved two large tables for party of 20 for a Thursday night. Tables were set and ready when we got there. Food and service was great.

The Airliner has been known for its pizzas for many, many years. Since students frequent the place in the evening, I would recommend going earlier in the evening, to avoid crowds and rowdy students.
