I went here for dinner on the recommendation of someone local. The food was good and the service was good.

Asked for a recommendation when we arrived in town and the food was so good we went back the second night of our stay. The staff is well trained and take good care of their customers.
Crowded and a little noisy but the food is good and service better than average. Prices are on the high side.
While visiting family in Keokuk, we visited the Hawkeye for a late lunch. Over five days, we ate three meals at the restaurant and enjoyed every one. The food was good, the staff was very friendly and the prices were reasonable. We wil dine here again on our return to Keokuk.

I guess on what they have to choose from locally, it was O.K. but way too much money for the quality of the food. I had a much higher expectation of the beef... More
