We ordered the thin artichoke specialty pizza which was yummy. All the Italian dishes being served looked wonderful. The waitress gave us samples to help us choose our wine. She could tell we were tourists and provided a 2017 Keokuk brochure. Make reservations - it's a busy place.
I was pleasantly surprised by this little gem of a restaurant that can easily be missed if you are not looking for it. Located on the south side of Main Street just before you get to the bridge in Keokuk Iowa, this little Italian restaurant has some delicious offerings. They offer a wide variety of pizza, Italian food, and a... More
Crowded at lunch and weekend evenings. Reservations helpful Friday and Saturday nights. Dining room is very noisy.
I read all reviews and went expecting great food. I got the Seafood gratin for 17.99. It was terrible. It had 3 little shrimp and no scallops. Salmon chunks were overcooked. And it wasn't good. A lobster cream souce should be slightly sweet This tasted sour. Someone else got prime rib for 22.99 and it wasn't good. My husband liked... More
This is the kind of restaurant you would expect to find in a larger city, not a little town of 8,000 people.. It's one of those gems that should be a feature on The Food Network. Angelini's used to just serve pizza, which was always delicious. However, in the past few years they have expanded their menu and now serve... More
Great waitress and the food was ok. The grilled zucchini was luke cool (not warm). The dessert was good and the pasta chef was great to talk to. They quit serving Pepsi drinks (???), so we had Michelob Ultras that were the same temp (not cold) as the grilled zucchini. Not sure if or when we will go back.
Recommended by a couple locals, the food was excellent. Had Allison as our waitress - she was great! Used to work in the back and new how to order exactly what we wanted. Poisenden's Seafood Gratin was amazing "Cooked in the oven of love" was how she described it, and it was wonderful. Also really enjoyed the Dam Salmon, Twice... More
Always a great dinner! The lasagna is amazing! Try one of the homemade dressings on your salad. The pasta bar is a great addition. Very good wine selection. We enjoyed the house wine. Well worth a visit. My only negative would be the music at dinner, something other than the radio would create a better atmosphere. Just a thought! Give... More
