We ate in the bar as we had our dog with us and ordered 4 starters to share as a sort of tapas. All the food was great and staff were friendly. Only issue for us was the price of the wine, £7 for a...More

Thanks for taking the time to review your recent visit. Really like the 'tapas' style lunch you chose. With regards to our wine menu, our cheapest glass is £5.50 (175ml) for a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, Chile but clearly, the price will depend on the...More

Beautiful decor, cosy fires, great atmosphere. We ate in the bar area. Food was excellent and service very good. Not too expensive either. Best meal I’ve had in the forest for some time. Thank you. We will be back!

A pleasant meal in calming surroundings totally spoilt by very noisy diners who couldn't take their drink and be convivial at a decent decibel level. Inconsiderate at best. The food was good enough and the service timely and cheerful.
