Lovely little Village Pub very small , didn't have a very extensive menu but the food was hot, freshly cooked and delicious, The New landlady was very friendly as were the locals

Thank you Denise. Jacqui keeps the menu quite small to ensure that all the food is fresh. I hope you will make her pub one of your regular haunts.

We came here for a meal after work and were not disappointed. Our party had hearty home cooked food served by friendly staff. We sampled the delicious desserts: homemade chocolate brownie, banana waffles and cheesecake - all of which were fab! Will definitely return.

Superb and delish food - Jacqui was very accommodating, amending a starter option to a main. The lasagne was very creamy and fish cooked to perfection. The star turn for us were the desserts though - all had us wanting more!!! Service was attentive, warm...More

Thank you writing this review. Do come back soon and spread the word as Jacqui has worked hard to get the Royal Oak working again.

Complete change of decor and under new management. Friendly welcoming pub and my meal was fabulous. Spicey Squash soup and Deconstructed beef pie with fresh vegetables.

Good service but mediocre food - burger had no cheese, bacon or tomato. Salad was just lettuce leaves.. Very limited menu however think the pub is about to have new tenants so things may improve

Gary and Keith are now well established in the Royal Oak, bringing with them years of experience in other local pubs. You will receive an extremely warm welcome when you drop in to eat or just drink. We serve superb home-cooked food and there is a range well-kept Westerham Brewery beers and fine wines for you to enjoy. The pub is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty - whether you are walking, cycling, on a family outing or working away from the office there is something for you at The Royal Oak. There are a couple of walks on the Links page of our website and we are very close to both Chartwell and Hever Castle.Freshly brewed coffee and free High Speed WiFi is available at all times.
