Very nice pub, tables well spaced not giving a cramped atmosphere. Plenty of staff and all friendly and professional. We all opted for the Carvery which was beef, turkey & Lamb. Potatoes were perfect as was the meat and veg. Would definitely recommend this place.

Had a lovely meal here on Saturday night with my husband. Food was absolutely amazing. The only thing stopping me give a 5* review is that we had to keep asking for more drinks when we’d finished rather than being asked if we’d like to...More

No, but there are a few dog friendly pubs in Thornton. It's a nice walk around the reservoir before having a bite in one of the pubs.
