Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We’re not from the area but we’re driving past and saw the sign for the carvery and decided to stop. It was great value for money. We really enjoyed the food The choice of vegetables potato and meats was really good if we’re passing again...and we’re hungry will definitely stop.More

I brought my mother and father a £50 Voucher for The March Hare where they are frequent visitors. Their bill came to £26 and change so the staff at the time advised they would take the £50 voucher and only give them back a £20...voucher as there was no manger available to give the rest in change out of the till. The staff which were lovely advised the manager would be in touch. After no contact for a few days we contact them and after a phone call back the manager had advised they will not be providing any change. The staff on the phone were very apologetic as knew what the manager was doing was wrong. We even offered to pay the £6 and change and get a £10 voucher back but they would not do that either. Whilst this is only £3 and change this is still in principle theft. The manager didn’t even have the confidence to call back themselves but made the staff do this. Our entire family has eaten there for years and would have previous recommended as the staff and food are great. I am so appalled at the managers behaviour, they should be ashamed.More

What can I say. They are one of the best Carvery restaurants in Worcester From the beginning to the end. Staff are great. Food top notch. Price competitive. You need to book ahead. If you visit you will know why.

Had booked this table way back in February for quite a few people as it was a Golden Wedding celebration. The table lay out was dreadful six of us sat with our backs to the rest of the family for the whole meal.Very disappointed The Guy...who served the carvery had to be the most miserably man on the planet all he seemed to do was grunt at you I don't think his English was great.you need someone with a personality serving you.The rest of the staff were all very nice. Would I go back here again NO.More

Great location and lovely ambience. Fabulous looking spread of roast meats and vegetables. The veg was regularly topped up with fresh supplies and a huge pot of gorgeous gravy. For me the ham was great but both the beef and the turkey were over cooked...and a little dry. The veg was also not as tasty as it looked with very dry dauphinois potatoes. The cauliflower cheese lacked cheese. Service was excellent and overall reasonably priced. Our first time. We’ll definitely go again as it’s possibly just one of those days it didn’t goes as well as usual. It was very busy so clearly very popular. To the next timeMore

Spontaneous visit on a Saturday, luckily we were able to get a table without booking! We all went for the 2 course carvery option which is fantastic value and the carvery was excellent. You didn't get too much meat (though I am sure they would...have given me more had I asked) but there are so many lovely sides to choose from, it didn't bother me at all. Great choice of desserts too.More

Been to The March Hare many times for a Carvery, normally very good but last night was very disappointing. Booked for 6.30pm given hardly any meat, it was like every thing was running out & food was barely warm. If this was my first time...I wouldn't return but I know it is normally very good...so this was very disappointing 😕More

Good food and Menu,. However having a digestive disorder, finding the Vegetables semi raw, not really edible, possibly blanched in quickness, not every body can eat raw, not to mention food waste, as not economical, so might be an idea to take that bit longer...to Cook properly this saving waste, and not enjoyable.More

this was a last minute thing. it has changed dramatically since the last time there. it is basically a carvery. I looked at the carvery at 18-30 and the beef was cooked two days ago it certainly looked like it so I had the steak...over priced and not good. one had the beef pie it looked good one had the fish and that was ok the two veggie burgers , tastless I was told. Back to the carvery the veggies looked fine.. I have never seen so many fat woen pilling their plates so it was falling off. and eat like a concrete mixer. it actually put me off. But if they had decent beef cooked rare or medium rare it would be good valueMore

We know The March Hare very well and use it to meet up with our son and his family as it is mid way between our homes. The food was excellent and as it was 'Fish Friday' was even better value. '

We visited the March hare today for my nieces 14th birthday, had a 3 course meal for £12 ( which is a bargain and carvery is always amazing here) there was 8 of us, everybody’s starter came out but not mine, when I asked the...young lad where my soup was, he said the chef is preparing it, 5 mins later as everyone had finish their starter mine has still not arrived, asked the young lad again where my soup was as everyone had fined theirs, he replied ( it’s not my fault go to the chef as he is preparing it, and your party are still eating, I replied yes a child is still eating but all adults have finished, he replied what ever. So I asked him what his name was and he said you don’t need to know my name, so asked a young curly haired girl at the bar what his name was, she replied I’m not telling you his name, I explained he was rude, she replied well you don’t need to know his name and walked off…… absolutely shocking attitude, what happened to customer service and happy customers disgraceful, I will never step foot in that place againMore
