The food here is always served hot and is very tasty. All the employees are friendly and helpful. Conveniently located next to the Magnson Motel.

The food is good, but not exceptional. The service is OK. The biggest downer is the noise level if they are at all busy. This is due to the acoustics of the building.

Good food, very reasonable prices. Service was a little slow, but we enjoyed our meal. We barely got in before the lunch crowd on a Sunday and they seemed to have a good number of locals coming in. The chorizo plate was a good choice for a Sunday brunch.

Didn't eat here on this trip, but have in the past. It was very good last time we ate here. This time, I came in just to stock up on the salsa they make and sell. It's my favorite of all the salsas I've eaten. I always buy the mild, because the medium and hot are waaaay too hot for... More

First off, any Mexican restaurant should have at least the minimum of DECENT salsa as the appetizer before the meal. I would your secret recipe is (a wild guess).....Tomatoes, a touch of Cayenne Pepper, and a food processor.....Zzzzzz. The chips were dull and boring. But at least they were warm. I am an enchilada connoisseur. So as with any new... More

While El Zarape has had its' share of issues and food quality declined, it appears back up to standards. Thank goodness! I had their enchiladas, smothered in their own Green Chile-Pork Sauce that was good! Portions have gotten smaller but the quality is back.

Restaurant was clean, the staff was smiling and all happy. The salsa was very good and kickin. The food came out hot and very tasteful full of flavor. I got the chimmichonga and it was good, my friend got the pork plate and he said it was delicious. You can even buy the salsa to take home.
