We had lunch on a winter Saturday at 1:30 and it was pretty full, and even more so when we left at 2:30, so get reservations. The menu is limited, made with local and fresh ingredients, and delicious. The menu also rotates frequently. The venue is old and historic. This is a must do in KY.

We had dinner here while staying at Shakertown. The food was delightful. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful the tomato celery soup is!! Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and the cost is a little on the high side, but I believe well worth it. We will certainly be back.

I don't lie about food because it's one of my favorite things. I've been all over the world and this place is one of the best! The food is so fresh and so wonderful my mouth waters just thinking about it. I've been here a handful of times and every time it blows me away. I drove two hours for... More

I love Shakertown at Pleasant Hill. I was surprised at the small size of servings. The slaw was in a small bowl for four people. We were not offered more. Main dish and fruit cup were very small.

I actually included comments about the restaurant in my review of Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, without realizing I could review the restaurant on it's own. The Trustees' Table is contained in one of the restored 19th century buildings located on this property. The building is cozy and quaint with views overlooking the property and contains beautiful spiral staircases, woodwork... More

I made reservations for lunch with my friend on 12/30. The restaurant at Shaker Village is called the Trustee’s Table. It is a lovely restaurant in the Shaker style with lots of natural light looking out towards the garden and livestock area. We both ordered the country ham and biscuits that came with a side of white gravy and French... More

We ate here because we were visiting the Shaker Village. They only had a buffet and the food was not very good. The desserts on the other hand were awesome, especially the lemon pie. Maybe the regular menu is better. It was nice to eat in the village and the service was great.

You can visit the gardens where much of the food is grown, then have a lovely meal prepared using authentic Shaker recipes. The food is simple and contains absolutely nothing artificial. Eating this food makes you feel like you are getting a well-deserved thank you for putting in a hard day's work~ it's almost like great big hug. You will... More

The food was good, and had fresh, or pickled vegetables from the garden. Some dishes are served "family style", but you must ask for seconds, since the servings come from the waitresses. The desserts are homemade, with the baked goods coming from original Shaker recipes.
