Bought take away for over £104.00 for my wife's birthday on 21/7/24 from Everest Abercorn in Stanmore London and of the three Lamb Biriyani there was very little Lamb and it was very disappointing. We have been a regular customer and never had this problem

Great experience hosting our pre -wedding Sangeet event in the function suite of Abercorn. They were flexible from the start, and allowed us to use several different decor items they had. We could come and set up the hall throughout the day. They were also very flexible with what we wanted served at the bar.
My only criticism is the food tasting - they should have q different system where they allow you a subsidised tasting especially if you are booking the hall already. Our tasting was too expensive!
Overall a great suite which I would recommend for others holding functions.

We visited this restaurant for a family occasion and it was ruined by the awful service. We didn't order starters and opted for popadams instead. Shortly after receiving the popadams, the main course arrived. We hadn't even finished the popadams. The waiter bringing the main course plates and cutlery started taking away our dirty plates, and using the same hands putting down the clean plates! Given that they're meant to be working safely due to Covid, this was extremely unhygienic and unsafe. Not only that, he plonked the plates down in a pile with the cutlery on top and told us to put the plates out ourselves! Remind me why we're paying a 12.5% service charge?! The food itself was nice but ruined entirely by the terrible service. I still cannot understand why restaurants serve up naans as the first item before the main dishes come out...the naans sit there going cold whilst we wait for our main dishes. We did complain to the manager and he offered to reduce the bill however, my brother insisted on paying for everything. I just hope they learnt from this incident that there is scope for improvement. I wouldn't come here again as it's too busy and noisy for them to cope with the demand.

Went for my daughters birthday. Was pretty disappointed by the service. Firstly, the plates and dishes were not laid for us; it was a 'plonked on the end of the table' for us to hand out to each other (there was only 5 of us). Secondly, I hadn't even finished my starter and the waiter waited next to me until I finished! I then told him I am not finished, he then went away!.
Thirdly, we asked for tap water 4 times (we had ordered 7 glasses of paid for drinks).
Fourthly, the food was simply not worth the price we paid. We were better off going to Namaste Lounge, for the price!

I recently dined at Everest Abercorn and was impressed by the delicious food and inviting ambience. The menu offered a variety of flavorful dishes, and the service was attentive and friendly. The spacious party room is perfect for gatherings, and there's plenty of parking, making it convenient for large groups. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for any occasion!

On November 24, 2024, the Jain Association of the UK held a memorable Diwali function at Everest Abercorn Stanmore, where attendees praised the outstanding service, food, and decorations provided by the restaurant. Many thanks to Vineeth, the Restaurant Manager, and his dedicated staff for their exceptional service that contributed to a wonderful experience enjoyed by over 100 guests. We had an 18th Birthday Party at the function room upstairs at Everest Abercorn. We were extremely pleased with the service we received from the start to the finish. Vineeth Krishnan the manager helped us organise the whole night. They set out the area to our requirements (tables decorated and chairs dressed) and also provided vegetarian food, which was delicious and plenty and enjoyed by all our guests. There is also a separate bar area which served a range of drinks. On the night we had Beni together with Riya and one another, sorry I forgot the name, who looked after us ensuring the party went. They were all very polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend Everest Abercorn if you are looking to hold small parties/gatherings.

I recently had my 50th Birthday Party here, and from the time when I booked it, I was blown away. Back then, I could not picture it, but when all the decorations were done, it was epic.
My first interaction was with Sumi, who showed me the function suite . She introduced me to Vineeth, whom I believe the manager is. He then discussed with me the different types of packages I could have in terms of food and what we did choose in the end was loved by all my friends and family and they still can't stop commenting how good the food was.
On the day of the party Vineeth had put Beni in charge to look after us and he was very attentive whenever I needed him he was right there to help, even when it came down to the smallest request like getting the kids meals like chicken nuggets and chips or noodles and chips and they made it mild to suit that particular child's palette.
Beni, you were amazing. You were truly a gent, and you were a great help on the day whenever I needed you. I also hired a DJ on the day of the party.
Vineeth had recommended me the decorators which they use normally and I called her up and she did an amazing job but just don't take my word for it have a look for yourself with the pictures and videos I have posted on this review it totally blew me away.
I just want to say a big thank you to Vineeth and Beni and the rest of the staff who had made my party flow seamless and they made my 50th birthday a truly memorable one.

We dine here regularly. The food is amazing and the all the team are amazing too. The service is in comparable to a 5 star hotel. The owner is very lucky to have such a dedicated team focusing on providing amazing food and great service. First time visitor and rather enjoyed it. The decor is uninspiring, too many coloured lights which makes it look overly pimped up. That said, the service and food was good/ verging on great. In particular the Desi Chicken was: silky; not very spicy and great. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area.

Everest Abercon hosted our daughter’s Indian engagement ceremony.
The evening went perfectly. From the delicious starters - loads of veg and non veg starters to the mains. They were even able to cater for specific dietary requirements. All the dishes were clearly labelled for allergies/food intolerances. Nice choice of desserts also. The suite was decorated beautifully for our event. Vineeth and his staff were extremely attentive and followed all our instructions as to how and when we wanted our food to be served ( buffet style) If you’re looking for a place to hold your event then Everest is the place to be.

I recently have had the chance to visit this astounding venue located in Stanmore. My first experience on this space with my closed ones was made special not only by its food but the aura of the staff member striving to provide an absolute restaurant feeling. This really made me impressed. It will always be my go to place with the people i am close to. Please keep it in your bucket list, you won’t regret.

We used the function room upstairs to celebrate my birthday party.
From the start Vineeth was so helpful, accomodating and really did his best to personalise my event to the way I wanted it.
The space upstairs with the bar is really spacious and was just perfect for our event (we had 80 guests).
Our friends and family really enjoyed the food, every item was tasty and on the day Beni, Sanskaar and Mihir were so helpful and kept everything moving smoothly.
I would highly recommend Everest Abercorn for your next event but having eaten in their restaurant, can also recommend their food downstairs too.

We booked a slot at Everest Abercorn restaurant for 20 extended family members including family members from Canada.
Just like say thank you for the excellent family friendly environment provided; all the ordered food was excellent; and the warm welcome provided by all the staff that we interacted with.

To begin with we were impressed with the starters but pretty much downhill from then. Main courses were ok but we were served by at least 4 staff during the evening, so they could never remember who drinks were for. First surprise was the onion side dish which consisted of a sliced onion, a wedge of lemon and three chillis for which we paid £4!!! (Picture attached) Would have left this go but after paying our bill of £180 we were offered a complimentary drink of baileys by a waiter called Ali. Two of us accepted and all was fine until we had drank half then he produced the card reader and charged an additional £12!
He then went on to tell my husband and my friends husband about the private room they have available with dancing girls and gave them a herbal alternative to viagra to use when they got home, all this in front of me and my friend, we sat there speechless at the absolute disregard he showed us. I’m no prude but seriously, we weren’t regulars with whom he may have built some sort of relationship with where this may have felt acceptable ??!! Needless to say we left asap.
A surreal and uncomfortable experience for us all and we won’t be returning.
