Located close to the village green in the historic conservation village of Breedon-on-the-Hill, the Hollybush Inn traces its origins back to the 17th Century. In the heart of the village, the pub is a protected Grade ll listed timber framed building which still holds its original charm. For anyone that hasn't been, the village is dominated by Breedon Hill, the site of an Iron Age period hill fort which is now home to the distinctive local landmark church of St. Mary and St. Hardulph. Lovely staff, very conscientious and caring, nothing was too much trouble and all staff were very helpful. We attended our friends wedding reception here and would like to come back to sample the food menu as the buffet they provided was lovely

Nice pub in a beautiful location low ceilings and very pretty inside. Outside is a different matter completely. Very dirty and scruffy with broken down sheds and litter. I even saw a full dog poo bag by the entrance door.
