Visited today for a Sunday lunch. Under new management, and we found it to be relaxed, friendly and welcoming. Home cooked Sunday lunch, real fire and easy parking. Well worth a visit.

Driving by yesterday at lunchtime and noticed the Bennet was open, usually closed weekday lunchtimes. Had a great freshly made baguette and drink. Service was friendly, a great stop off. Will be back!

Checked out this local pub after comments from family and reading reviews. I have to say that the meal (beef Sunday roast) was good value at £16 for two meals. Nicely cooked but nothing particularly special. Nice for a change.
