This elevates value to another level - unbelievably great steak at stupendous prices.
My partner and I lead an active life so hearty quality food is essential to keep us going hard on. Wether it’s ribs or steak I can honestly say the quality is first class and I’ve consumed many steaks in every corner of this fine world. I’ve been many times and never left unfulfilled or unsatisfied. Menu changes regularly so we’ve had some great starters and deserts either side of the main event - Baked Camembert, scotch egg - choc gash and lemon thing to note just a couple of crackers. Service always spot on with an attentive nothings too much trouble attitude. Sides, few more veg options would be nice but the onion rings are worth the trip.. Cheese board needs some elevation but nothings ever perfect. Highly highly recommend can’t praise enough lovely people and magnificent Scoffs

Where do I start!?
We couldn’t have been looked after any better and we ate like kings!
We actually drove an hour out of our way to get here and seriously we would drive an hour more again!
The starters were insanely good. Haven’t had Boerworz as good in South Africa. You could taste the quality and love that went into that. We were even given complimentary croquettes as we expressed how delicious they sounded. They were like little golden nuggets of heaven!
We could have ended our meal there but we were excited to explore the rest of Chefs repertoire and naturally found room.
I had Ribeye. I like it rare but was assured I need medium rare just to get that fat rendered down. I obliged, it tasted like caramel! Unreal. Thanasis knows his stuff and clearly trusts his chef Iulian. What a team!
We drank Buiten, South African red.
My wife, Mum, Dad and Brother had the roast.
Agreed it was better than a well known establishment in London beginning with an H, rymes with roar…
Real thought has gone into this establishment and I cannot wait to tell people I was one of the first customers!
They had to wheel us out in the end In a barrow and I woke up and thought it was all a dream!

We came to the White Hart as we were visiting the area and what a great Sunday meal!!
The waiting staff were impeccable and the chef went above and beyond. I am vegan and my wife's not and the chef even specially made a vegan sugar free pudding for me.
The prawn starter sauce was something else and my wife said the beef main was the best she has ever eaten. I actually caught her drinking the chocolate sauce from the pot with the waffle desert.
Massively recommend them to anyone.

Went here on a Saturday evening, service was very attentive, and were very informed, perfectly pairing a Buitenverwachting Cabernet Sauvignon merlot, with a rib eye, which was to die for. Amazing flavour and perfectly cooked. A concise but varied Menu, which many fail to deliver, rather offering quantity over quality. However the team here did an amazing job, all dishes were fantastic. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Fantastic! Returned here after not having visited for a long while, as a Mother's Day meal for my wife. Menu was full of tempting dishes but my wife went for a roast. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and the Cauliflower cheese went down a treat. I opted for an 8oz rib eye. Cooked exactly how I wanted it, could have been cut with a butter knife. Added bonus was asking whether they had garlic butter, being told not today, only to have the chef knock up a delicious garlic butter. Great customer service, and kudos to the chef after what was probably a bit of a beasting that day! Kids loved their sausages and short ribs!
Slightly let down by empties not removed from table, and some staff could have been a tad.more attentive, but this is probably somewhat harsh at the end of a busy Mother's Day. Definitely returning, and would highly recommend!

We visited with our three young children for a late Sunday lunch. The roast was fantastic, great quality, full of flavour and huge portions. I definitely recommend the side of cauliflower cheese. They have an extensive wine list and I asked for their advice on a great red pairing which was spot-on. The children had plenty of choice on their menu and cleaned their plates. Really impressed with their service, great choice of menu dishes, large wine selection and the locals are also very friendly and nice!

Highly recommend going here for a meal. Recommended by neighbours and the food was phenomenal. My partner is often left frustrated when going out for a steak as it almost is never cooked as requested - the meat was cooked to perfection and a return visit is now a must. I had the Korean style burger and it's as delicious as it looks in the photos.
Besides the food the atmosphere was brilliant for a Friday night - packed out with people enjoying themselves and plenty of people with their dogs out the front enjoying the evening.
Furthermore we interacted with plenty of members of staff - all of whom were incredibly inviting/friendly and seem to love what they do and where they work.
Special place that we'll be coming back to soon!

We arrived without booking and the inside was full (so recommend booking ahead), but we were welcomed to sit outside. The service is great, the menu diverse. The roast dinners were fantastic - beef as you would want it if you could cook it yourself. The cauliflower cheese is worth adding - delicious.

We have just returned from a lovely one night stay here. A warm welcome greeted us and they were perfectly understanding when I asked to move rooms after we had been given a room at the front. I was probably quite prickly, as I was tired and really didn’t want passing cat noise to keep me up! Prickliness subsided after we moved with no issue. A heater was provided as the room was cold and the heating taking its time but totally fine after twenty mins.
We had dinner as well; two plants burgers, a bottle of Malbec, olives and sticky toffee pudding with change from 70 quid. I completely over did it and had to go for a walk at 9pm to stop feeling so full:)
Breakfast included and was nice. I’m going to gloss over the hard avocado as everything else was lovely!
All in all a good one night stay. Would return if visiting family in the area again.

I booked to stay here on the evening of Monday, 12th December and to have dinner that evening. Unfortunately, my flight to London was delayed by six hours, so my arrival at the White Hart did not happen until 11.00 pm. This meant I missed my dinner and the usual check-in deadline of 8.00 pm. However, this seemed to cause the staff absolutely no problem and the chef made me a delicious muffin sandwich of bacon, tomato and melted cheese for which he refused my efforts to make payment.
Yesterday, I had breakfast and lunch in the restaurant, both of which were delicious and served quickly with a smile.
I thought the whole experience was a delight and made up for my protracted delay the previous day. Very well done by the proprietor and the staff involved.

A solid 10/10 experience at The White Hart in Holybourne. From the minute we walked in to the moment we left we were treated exceptionally! The menu was inspiring and we would have liked to have ordered one of everything but will return instead to try something new! The ribs were outstanding - the menu has been well thought of and tasted even better than it sounded! They catered for children and had a play area outside although we didn’t have time to use it. The wine list was the best I have seen in a while, what a choice - also would have liked one of each of these…!
Service was spot on and we can’t wait to return!

Delicious food. The steaks were on special offer as it was Monday, and 3 people really enjoyed this menu choice. I had pasta which was also very tasty. The vegan chocolate dessert was also delicious, and if definitely go back for this dessert. Service attentive and good. All round a win for this establishment.

I visited the White Hart yesterday with family not expecting anything more than a basic pub meal. I believe it is under new ownership and can safely say the pub has been turned around and the food is now outstanding, the staff are very polite and attentive too.
All their meals were to die for, and I am still dreaming about the Featherblade beef and those racks of ribs 😋

I stayed at the hotel and had dinner and breakfast. The rooms are lovely and spacious, and very comfortable.
Dinner was tasty and very reasonable and breakfast (which was included in the price) was one if the best I've had at a hotel.
The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and I look forward to staying next time I'm in the area.

Thanasi, Stephanie and team pulled it out the bag!
We celebrated my mums 60th birthday with a pre-booked meal for 17 people.
From start to finish all the staff were helpful, engaged and wanted to make the occasion special.
Food was excellent, tasty and the Christmas menu well priced.
Luke is a credit to the team. He helped me set up the room and clearly enjoyed his work.
I can't thank the team enough. It was a really special meal which wouldn't have been the same without the excellent customer service!
