After reading the reviews, we knew we wanted to try this out. We ate here on a Wednesday night but the place was full. We wanted to try everything on the menu. There were three of us. We split the grit cake appetizer. It was delicious and was a good portion for three. Entrees ordered: chicken and waffles, half rack... More

It was so worth the visit. I love that this was a house converted into a restaurant. Our wait was not too bad for a Friday night. Our server was very attentive and gave great advice. The mushroom appetizer was enough for a party of 6! My husband and I barely made a dent. I ordered the half rack of... More

We went for dinner at 6:30, there were four of us. The wait was probably 20 minutes or so. There is no waiting area inside so dress warmly if the weather is cold you will be just outside the front door. Fortunately we were allowed to stand just inside the front door. Nice craft beer selection but they were out... More

We came here just to grab some beers after work and as soon as we walked in and smelled the food we decided to eat as well. This might have been some of the best barbecue that I have had in a long time. I had the duck and brisket and they were both cooked to perfection. The sides and... More

We had dinner here while spending the night in Louisville. The place was as advertised in TripAdvisor. It should be on Diner, Drive-in and Dives. The place is very small and you should get there early. They open at 5:00 we got there at 5:30 and we had a 20 min wait. The waiter said they had been packed since... More

Great place. Long wait though. It's worth the wait if you have the time. Great pork tacos. Good beet selections.

Bad part of town, a little sketchy. The food and staff made it all worth it. The duck is great. Try the fries fried in duck fat. Ribs were good also.

The shuttle driver at the Seelbach recommended this place and it's on the money. It's in an older neighborhood about 10-15 minutes from downtown, in the lower level of a converted shotgun house. The main signage is a large hammerhead shark above the door. When you walk in the delicious smell of smoked meats hits you. There's a bar, a... More
