Sunday Brunch was perfect in every way. Perfect selection options on the buffet and service outstanding! The bread pudding was worth the weekend stay. Amazing flavor and texture.

Great location and great service. Our guest knew the manager and two very fine bottles of wine were waiting at our table. My wife and I shared the scallop Benedictine appetizer. It was great. Cesar salad was very good. I had the dover sole and my wife had the short rib. Both were excellent. Our guest had the lamb. He... More

A beautiful formal english grill, but you will not get anything close to a Kentucky Wagu Filet Mignon in London. It was the perfect steak .. tender, juicy and tasty. Had the famous Hot Brown here while the Mrs. and I shared the steak. If there is a more fattening sandwich, I haven't found one yet. It was scrumptious. Service... More

Ok, so we weren't adventurous. We ordered the dish The Brown Hotel is famous for. And it was as delicious as we hoped it would be. Huge servings, but we managed to polish off every bit. The wait staff was attentive and prompt. Enjoyed the original oak paneling, many equine paintings and original embroidered panels lining the walls. Old-fashioned charm... More

Went to celebrate my husband's birthday after touring the Makers Mark Distillery for the day. The hotel lobby, lobby bar and English Grill room are lovely and our service was really excellent. We liked being there! The food was good but not great or excellent. My husband had a Manhattan that was very good, I had a glass of wine.... More

We selected the English Grill, based on its reputation and the Brown Hotel's history. We had reservations for a holiday weekend. We were greeted by the host and seated promptly to a table for two. The restaurant is much smaller than I had envisioned, and it was about two-thirds full. We ordered from the drink menu, which is the same... More

I have stopped by for brunch several times. The brunch isn't equivalent to a Ritz brunch, but it is certainly in the neighborhood. It should be noted that it is NOT priced like a Ritz brunch. In fact, for what you get, I think it is very reasonably priced. Bottom line? Bruch will prove to be a good experience for... More

Overpriced. Make sure not to wear any open toed shoes, or you will be told to go change. We did, but should not have wasted our time. It was very noisy from a adjoining stairwell, and vulgarity was being spewed up and down the entire dinner.
