A treat during lockdown

Something to look forward to when you can't go out. We have always enjoyed the food and friendly atmosphere at Cinnamons restaurant. During lockdown we have used their excellent delivery service to continue to enjoy excellent Indian food at reasonable prices.

A wonderful meal and great service

My wife and I and our 3 children ate here tonight. We had booked in advance due to current COVID-19 restrictions. We were warmly welcomed and shown where the hand sanitiser was to use on entering. We were shown to our table and offered poppadoms and the drinks menu. We chose to have poppadoms and decided to have no starters but go straight for main courses so our children were not too full to enjoy them. We had a Chicken Bhuna, a Chicken Tikka Masala, a Chicken Dandass, a Chicken Shashlik and a Chicken Jaccuti. We partnered them with a Sag Rice, 2 Pilau Rice, a Plain Nan, a Peshwari Nan and sides of Sag Dhal and Sag Paneer. The flavours were incredible. There was plenty of heat in my Jaccuti but the balance was spot on. Our children loved their meals and my wife was blown away with the flavour of her Shashlik. The sides were great as were the other accompanying dishes. I eat out with work normally once a week and always choose to have Indian or Nepalese food. This was right up there with some of the best I’ve eaten. Very comforting was the service and COVID alterations that had been made. They made you feel safe but were not at all imposing. All in all an excellent meal and we would happily return soon. Thank you.

Reliably excellent food, friendly service

We often eat at Cinnamons with friends but tonight we ate with a family group including my 95 year old Dad. The food was to the usual high standard and everyone was very helpful and kind. I can't recommend Cinnamons enough, we are so lucky living nearby.

Indian Takeaway "down south"

Ordered online which was efficient and arrived as expected. Food portions not big, bit bland and sooooo expensive (£3 for rice in addition to main course!!) Even the Popadoms were soft. We paid as much for 4 mains as we did the previous week in the north west for 6 and all had starters and the quality and size of dishes bears no comparison!!!

Wonderful surprise

We were looking for a place close to us to have a quick dinner. It was a wonderful surprise to discover the Cinnamons. I had the king prawn butterfly as a starter, then the Tandoori Marsala king prawns with mushroom rice and saag aloo. My partner had the lamb samosa, then the pilau rice and chicken bhuna. Every single dish was tasty, nicely seasoned and served in a good portion. We were delighted with our dinner and will definitely be back soon! Thank you to the team for the amazing service!

Delicious, friendly, see you again!

Lovely evening at cinnamons. The staff are friendly & attentive but not imposing, the prices are normal for this fare. The food is wonderful & not oily, giving a clean eating experience with great flavours. All 4 dishes were spot on, breads lovely. Will see you again for sure!! Covid19 precautions in place but doesnt effect the experience. Great place. Steve, Liz n Josh

Consistently excellent Indian food

Cinnamons has been consistently good for years - a varied menu of fresh food with nice but unfussy presentation. The lamb shatkora is particularly good, and not something you see very often. Service is friendly and quick. Highly recommended, especially with a tenner off.

Food was adequate - have cooked better myself. Was made to feel uncomfortable and stingy for asking for tap water, and felt pressured to spend a higher amount. Staff cold and unfriendly.

Monday night curry

I ordered the set meal for one at £21.95 and went for the sheek kebab starter Chicken jacuti main with a plain naan and pilau rice and a side of vegetable bhaji. The food was ready in 20 minutes for collection, I pulled up right outside the restaurant a very friendly welcome and I was back on my way within 5 minutes. The sheek kebab was delicious and perfectly suited the mint yoghurt sauce. My chicken main was equally delicious and hot, all the food was very tasty and I'm not easily impressed. I'll definitely be returning to Cinnamon soon. Many thanks

Poor takeaway very disappointed.

Poor takeaway very disappointed. Takeaway for 5. 2 mixed starters and 2 chicken chaats. Puri bread with Chaat very oily. Mixed starter very mixed. Chicken Tikka great. Lamb Tikka also tasted good but quite tough. Sheekh Kebab ok. Main courses were Chicken Dandaas, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Bhuna, Chicken Shashlik and Chicken Mirch Masala, with Pilau Rice, Sag Rice, plain and Peshwari nan, Sag Paneer and Sag Dhal. Everyone disappointed. Children described their food as 5/10. No one managed to finish anything. Chicken in every dish very dry. Pilau rice ordered but mushroom rice provided. Really disappointed. Love to hear your reply.

Good to be back

After another (hopefully the last) lockdown, it's wonderful to be eating out again, and Cinnamons certainly didn't disappoint. Takeaways have certainly helped through the last six months, but there's nothing quite like a fresh, crispy garlic naan. The lamb shank (which isn't on the takeaway menu) is fantastic - definitely one to try.

Great First Try.

So last night having been out all day and as the village had recently had menus put through our letterbox’s we ordered a takeaway from Cinnamons. Straight to the point, the food was great & delivered quickly. Can’t ask for more.

Fantastic find .

Following disappointment that an Indian Restaurant we use occasionally was closed on a Monday . I did an internet search and found Cinnamon in nearby Wheatley a Pakistani restaurant. Just so glad we did . Great menu choices infact spoilt for choice . I ordered a main I had never heard of before . Wow fantastic flavours and not too spicy . Friendly polite staff . I will be returning.

Great vegetarian feast!

We had a great meal of a fab selection of vegetarian dishes they were tasty, fresh and beautifully prepared! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for vegetarian and vegans alike and definitely go for the Kudo as was lively!!

Really good dinner as usual

We fairly regularly have dinner at or order a takeaway from Cinnamons. The food is consistently good. We lived for many years in West London surrounded by good food of this sort and Cinnamons has never been a disappointment to us. My favourite is the Sally Lamb. :) On our last visit a group sitting next to us were visiting from Surrey after meeting friends at Waterperry and they were blown away by the quality of the food in our little village and kept saying how lucky we are. I agree.
