We wanted to stop somewhere quick while traveling I 12. This was close to the traffic jam with good reviews. We had a muffuletta which was served on warm, fresh bread. The shrimp po boy was also good (a little salty). The place looks like a converted fast food restaurant. It was busy, but still clean. For a quick bite,... More

I ate at the Po' Boy Express twice while in Baton Rouge recently. The first time I had a Philly cheese steak po' boy and the second time a shrimp po' boy. Both sandwiches were marvelous! The servings were generous and the meat, especially the shrimp, wa outstanding. The bread was warm, dense and chewy. I sure wish there was... More

Had this for lunch and it was better than the oyster one by far. The regular is quite good sized--the large is enough to share!

Make sure you order it with gravy and grab a handful of napkins. It's very flavorful and kind of messy. It's a true representation of a PoBoy.

Sandwich dressed well, not to much sauce that takes away from taste of shrimp-- shrimp were done well, good portion. Enjoyed the place and will be back in the future.

Stay away from the Perkins Road location. Ordered an oyster poboy and was the nastiest thing I ever ate. Had to throw it away. Never going back. They used to be good.

Passing thru on the way home from FL vacation stopped for the night at Holiday Inn Express and did not want to drive far for some good local fast food late at night. This place hit the spot! So many choices on their menu and prices were great. Please take the time to stop by it is not your usual... More

The oyster po-boys at the Cedarcrest location are very good. The french fries are seasoned a different way...and are just incredible! Service is quick; food is not overpriced. For a fast-food po-boy restaurant, I'd recommend Po-boy express on Cedarcrest!

Looking for a good lunch spot and took a chance on a TripAdvisor review with only a few reviews. I wanted a seafood sandwich and this place looked like it would fit the bill without breaking the bank. Wonderful meal that didn't cost a fortune. Very big sandwich selection! All locals and a basic" hole-in-the-wall" look and feel. Kind of... More
