The Oysters Lagniappe were fabulous, and surprisingly the broccoli we substituted was very fresh. Only negatives were parking and waiting. Apparently they take reservations for large groups only. So as a couple at prime time we waited for about an hour. But it was worth it.

When we have guests from out of town Louisiana Lagniappe is always a choice restaurant for a great experience with great seafood. The service is always top notch and the food is consistently wonderful from the appetizers to the entrée to desert.

This is a very special restaurant - great ambience, great service, and great food! I love to take out-of-town visitors to experience real Louisiana fine cuisine, and also love it for family celebrations or just a night out with my husband. C'est magnifique!

Given this is the #1 rated restaurant in Baton Rouge we were expecting more. With no reservations taken we arrived at 6 on a Tuesday to find there was a 30+ minute wait. After a short wait of 20 mins we were seated. Modest restaurant decor but an enthusiastic waitress. Our orders came quickly. Enjoyable but not up to expectations,... More

This moderately priced restaurant features seafood, but also includes a few steak and chicken choices for our friends who don't enjoy seafood. Each menu item is seasoned with that little something extra (lagniappe) for a delightful dining experience. My guest and I enjoyed an appetizer, soup, entree and a drink for under $100 with tip. Sadly, the portions were so... More

I could eat here at least once a week, my favorite dish to order is the stuffed Bell Peppers, but any Fish, Shrimp, or Oyster dish is awesome as well! Boudin Balls as appetizers are a must as are Martinis! Time for another visit, Hubby and I both can relax here anytime. We only wish reservations were taken!

This food is amazing! You def need to eat here! They deserve to be #1! We are here almost a year ago to the time and we leave in Oregon and it was all I could talk about once we started planning this trip again. It did not disappoint at all. You can tell just by the parking a lot... More

Savory and delicious fresh Black Drum en Papillote. Lump crab cake and shrimp stuffing baked in parchment paper with light garlic buerre blanc. Busy and noisy. Great service. Excellent meal.

I wanted to try TripAdvisor's number one restaurant in Baton Rouge before the football game starts.. An upscale restaurant!!! I was impressed with food and the service that we had. Appetizers... gumbo was excellent and also the crab cakes. Perfect roux on the gumbo!! Crab cakes very nicely cooked to perfection. Entrées.... just one this time... we got the Fried... More

It's not terrible but what am I looking for if I return. And I'm beginning to question places where the light is so dim you can't see you food. Food: Sautéed crab fingers were amazing but the stuffed peppers didn't taste cooked through. Nice size side salad and potato was good but a bit dry. Service: Amazing. Just the right... More
