We had heard wonderful reviews about this restaurant, but, all were understated! We usually like tablecloths and cloth napkins. But this place served food that caused us to overlook those amenities. Lexie was our server. She is a local and very delightful. We ordered Caprese salad, the best ever, with fresh basil and balsamic reduction. Also the crab portobello brie... More

I had heard negative things about the restaraunt before and it was not my pick of places to go on this night. I was outnumbered by a bunch of teen girls :-) the food was overpriced and not good. I had the shrimp and it was a rubbery and cold small portion. This is my home town and we know... More

opens only on select nights a week but really nice spacious restaurant with friendly staff and a really nice vibe. On the day i went (tuesday) they had a young school girl doing some live sining and i thought she was really very good. The waiters and waitresses are cool and friendly too. I recommend the vegetarian pizza..very nice!

this is a good place for yummy food. I had a cup of crawfish etouffee and a shrimp Po Boy. The servings were large and the food was delicious. My wife's shrimp fettuccine was huge and delicious also. Good service too. This is NOT cheap eats however, but really good food doesn't come cheap. The only downside I could find... More

This was a wonderful experience and the local cuisine was great. You are able to have a well cooked meal and represents the local Cajun food. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. Loved it and will be back.

This is a very nice place with a unique atmosphere. There was music tonight which was outstanding. The dining area, which was an old auto dealership repair shop, makes for one of the most unusual dining rooms at any restaurant I have ever been to. It is my favorite dinning area in any restaurant in the entire Acadiana region. The... More

Searched trip advisor for a good restaurant close to where we had taken a swamp tour. Decided to go to Buck and Johnny's. Turned out to be a great decision. We shared a cup of seafood gumbo which was wonderful. We shared an ordered of Johnny's shrimp off the appetizer menu. These were delicious, could have eaten another plate full.... More

Hubby and I had dinner here on a Friday night. Looks like a renovated old gas station. Nice guy playing guitar and in bar local football game on TV. We had an excellent meal and drinks. Recommend crabmeat crostini, chicken praline appetizers. We also had for dinner pasta with blackened tilapia - crawfish etoufee and catfish, crawfish etoufee, lettuce &... More
