Bread was incredible. Alligator piquant was so spicy I couldn't finish. Service was reasonable but a bit slow.

The atmosphere of this place is amazing and so is the food! A little hole in the wall place that feels like home. Good people and good music go very well together here.

My bride had Gumbo and thought it quite good, but thought the waitress rather snarky. I had a grilled chicken Po' Boy, which might have been pretty good if the chicken had not been so tough! Jacqueline should have been ashamed to plate this abomination!...More

Lucky for us Cafe Des Amis was closed so we walked up the street to a small very unpretentious cafe filled with locals. We shared a seafood entree and could not finish it. Delish and freshly cooked, not quick food. Dessert was layered chocolate cake....More
