This is THE place to go for the very best in Chinese food in the Hammond area. Menu includes many original dishes found only here. Dining rooms are magnificently decorated and comfortable for a part of one or two of LARGE parties. Forget those ALL you can eat buffets, here you will be served ONLY the very best quality ingredients... More

I have been coming to the Wong brothers' restaurants for over 40 years (originally China Inn in Hammond), and we know they can cook excellent Chinese (especially Szechuan) food. Both Trey Yuens, and especially the Hammond location, need sprucing up. The entrance needs to be opened up, the whole place cleaned and updated. The food in Mandeville is better than... More

Trey Yuen is a world renowned Chinese restaurant. It is special for the way it uses Louisiana ingredients in it's cuisine. The Tong Cho trout is my favorite item on the menu. Cardboard would be tasty, if it was covered in Tong Cho sauce. The setting and building is beautiful.

We had heard nothing but praise for Trey Yuen so we decided to give it a try. The service was quick and friendly and the egg rolls were very tasty. The rest of the meal wasn't quite up to what we were expecting. Double happiness with fried rice is Chinese veggies with beef, shrimp and chicken. The veggies were good... More

The food was average. It was almost laughable that the waiters dress like a 5star restaurant, but the place is filthy, with ants and at least one fly at our table. The glass shelves in the entry and the woodwork were so dusty, it looked like they had just opened a deserted restaurant before our arrival. If friends hadn't invited... More

We've gone to Trey Yuen for decades. The restaurant building was built in the 80's if I am remembering correctly. The building has a timeless Chinese beauty, but is showing signs of wear for sure. The menu has something for just about everyone. Over the years, we've found that the menu and food has consistent flavors. Trey Yuen consistently does... More

The food is good but you come for the atmosphere. The wait staff needs to be whipped into shape . But again its great.

My husband and I were excited to be in the area and the opportunity to eat at Trey Yuen! It had been a favorite for many years even though we didn't get there often. We live in Baton Rouge. We ordered three meals from the lunch menu. Two to eat there and one to take out. We were served one... More

We recently tried Trey Yuen after several years. We were very disappointed with the quality of the food and feel like the food and service has gone downhill! Nothing tastes fresh and I have eaten better food at an airport takeout. Not sure what has occurred to have such a drastic change but I would not recommend it. From the... More

We were at a Cross country race just north of Trey Yuen Tuesday night and were too hungry to make it home and had to drive right by this place. THere were 3 of us (my wife and I , and our teenage runner daughter). We had the Dinner for 3 and picked MooGoo Gai Pan (this was the best... More
