Well we drive big truck and it's been about 8th time!! Lunches and dinners. They have truck & trailer plus RV parking in their lot. Also an RV campground beautifully landscaped next door. Anywhoooo on with my review. It's New Years 2017 and the Crawfish have been in season here since Thanksgiving they said. A bit early due to the... More

A visit to Crawfish Town USA never disappoints. Once a year our travels take us near Henderson, Louisiana and weaker a point to stop by this massive eatery for deep fried and grilled Cajun treats. From the spicy gumbo and alligator nuggets, to the catfish, shrimp, and... of course crawfish, Crawfish Town USA is a bayou treasure. Offering a separate... More

Older Cajun Restaurant. Specializes in boiled crawfish even in season. Kind of pricey for what's offered.

We ate dinner and wanted to try Cajun creole. The seafood gumbo and crawfish étouffée were ok but different than we remembered. The frayed craw fish was very good and the snapper Pontchartrain was to die for delicious. Service was good and portion sizes more than adequate. We were there early and it felt like an empyrean barn but as... More

Ate here while overnighting in the area with friends. The food varies. Some items are quite good, like the low country potato salad or the crawfish boudin. However some of the other items were just ok. Nothing was terrible however. The service is on par and the restaurant is clean. I guess I've just had better Cajun food.

Loved the fried shrimp po boy - loaded with shrimp. Their gumbo is very good. My husband got the red beans, rice and sausage. When it was first brought to the table, there was no sausage in it. They did correct that. It was okay but we've had better.

Why not go where the locals go? Crawfish Town's boiled seafood is the best, always cooked and seasoned to perfection. Their grilled catfish and grilled shrimp are my favorite dishes here. (The grilled classic seafood platter is the best of both worlds) And I'm not sure how, but they sure can make a side of grilled veggies taste delicious!

We ordered a split platter of Oysters and frog legs - we received 6 oysters and three legs (not saddles). It came with FF and jambalaya (small ice cream scoop size). The charge was almost $19. We always split a meal because we do not eat a lot - obviously the meal hardly fed one person. The food did not... More

Casual friendly atmosphere. We had the seafood. The catfish was excellent. Kids had gumbo. They said taste like homemade. Very good !
