Need to try the Ebor Inn for food, Great value and service. Good selection on the menu, the Roast Beef was a really good choice.

For us, no trip to York is complete without a visit to this gem of a pub! The Ebor has a lovely cosy atmosphere inside, an excellent beer garden with plenty of space and the staff are both polite and helpful. My partner and I both had fish and chips (Haddock for both of us) and we weren't disappointed! The... More

Called into The Ebor for the second time on the way back from bank holiday shopping Once again had a scrumptious meal. I had the homemade Chicken & Leek pie which was delicious. The atmosphere in this pub is amazing, really family friendly as I had a six year old with me she loved playing in the beautiful spacious garden.... More

My husband and I, two older children and our dog Jasper arrived at the Ebor Inn after a long walk by the river. We were drawn in by the sign saying families and dogs on leads welcome. Despite having a lovely, large beer garden at the back, it was to cold to sit outside and asked if we could eat... More

As a regular to The Ebor I can honestly say it is a fantastic place to eat. It has great service, great staff and most of all great food! Huge portions for very very reasonable prices. The beer garden is enormous and in summer is absolutely packed, unsurprising given the pub's popularity. In November they even do a bonfire and... More

Had numerous visits to the Ebor Inn and enjoyed every single one. From the first step through the door you are warmly greeted and instantly get the vibe that this is a lovely pub with lots of character. All the staff we have had dealings with have been very polite and courteous. Its a Sam Smiths pub, and even thought... More

We left most of our food. I had fish and chips, the chips were dark brown and the fish watery and batter very oily. My husband had lambs liver and onions, the liver was tough, no onions, cabbage and carrots tasteless. Reminded me of school dinners. Gloomy decor inside, but lovely beer garden.

Attended the Ebor after a walk along the Ouse from Acaster Malbis, fabulous traditional ale house with beer garden. Food looked awesome too as it was being brought out. Clearly a popular place as it was busy. Plenty of staff on so service was spot on and all were friendly and welcoming! Top find and will be attending again!

Phoned early a.m. to make a reservation for lunch, and to check that there were vegetarian options as we couldn't find any menu on the internet. At 1p.m. the pub restaurant was surprisingly quiet and after having parked next to a rather tired looking, seemingly abandoned car which appeared not to have been driven for a couple of years I...
