I had the pump hamburger and was really impressed. The beef was so tender it literally melted in my mouth. I would definitely recommend this establishment.

The food is magnificent! The atmosphere is remarkable. The waiters/waitresses are friendly and timely and don't try to upsale you. They respect your orders, without disturbing your personal aura. Plus you get a huge plate of food for your pretty pennies you spend!😉

Took first bite in Salad to find an odd piece of broken off plastic with a nozzle staring at me, when waitress came to pick up plate, did not get a real apology, just wanted to know if I wanted to order something else, as if I had an appetite after that. The last 3 times I ordered salad here I... I heard so much about this place and I wanted to give it a shot. It's an art gallery basically with very basic foods. Someone else said basically a deli and I agree. Not many gluten free options. My husband ordered a potato and it was very small. My son got a monte cristo and it's not fried. I stuck... More

Enjoying a great business dinner. Having the Ahi Tuna Nachos. Awesome. In the heart of the revitalized downtown. Parking is easy.

this place is basically a deli. The sandwiches are good. Although they brag on their bread pudding and it is good however, I recommend the eastern part of the state when it comes to bread pudding. It is usually crowed during the weekdays, but slow on weekend days. Nights are usually busy but you usually do not have to wait... More

"Our bread pudding is the best"declared the comely lass ushering us into this jovial joint. I remember my first visit to the UK and the delightful memory of this English invention which mixes old bread with milk, eggs, sugar and spices. The version served here includes dried fruit, choc chips, rum and bourbon. Lovely, comfort food which raises a humble... More

We chose this restaurant because of it's varied menu and reasonable prices. We were not disappointed. It was a Monday evening and the weather was very rainy, so there was only one other couple dining. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. When we sampled the crab cakes appetizer, we were impressed with the lemon butter sauce, so... More

In town for mini reunion with a few college friends. They were staying at the chef's b and b. So we walked over. Virtually empty Saturday at noon. Odd. Ordered Caprese salad. Mozzarella cheese and tomatoes. Salad was small and little dressing. Have had much better elsewhere. Don't order water in Lake Charles. It tastes as bad as it smells.... More

Server and staff was wonderful, food was horrible. No seasoning, potato was hard and not cooked all the way.. Not worth the 100 dollars I spent..
