We went for breakfast and truly wanted to like the place. It's hard to mess up eggs, toast and bacon, however my vegetarian crepe was made with mushy vegetables, canned mushrooms and tasteless. The ice breaker was the place is filthy. The black oscillating fan over our table on the ceiling was so caked with dust it looked white. Will... More

Charming little cafe in the heart of St. Martinville. Nice menu with plenty of options. Open for breakfast and lunch. Service and food both excellent.

We had the frappé an beignets for a late breakfast. Friendly wait staff. Reasonable wait. Very quiet. Love the atmosphere. Food was good.

Took the family after mass and it was great from the beignets with powdered sugar to the southern style shrimp and grits. They even sell alcohol now so you can get an Irish coffee, Bloody Mary or a mimosa to compete your brunch

Small place, food was fresh and tasty. Many different types of coffee. Friendly service. Reasonably priced. Was a nice Mother's Day brunch.

Charming little coffee place, French style with very friendly and devoted staff. The food is not impressive but this is not the kind of place you visit with high or fancy expectations. The place was full when we came on a Saturday, we were served on a back patio and the charming waitress was apologetic being out of a number... More

I'm always drawn to small cafes in historic settings. St. Martinville, Louisiana is a delight and La Petit Paris is a gem in itself. It's an authentic working cafe with a small, dedicated staff. My wife and I each had an order of beignets and coffee served piping hot and delicious. The wait staff consisted of one very pleasant young... More

Great breakfast, I had the stuffed French toast and my sister had a potato dish. The food was very good. Service was good, I did have to ask the waitress to come and clean our table again. It had sticky (syrup?) in places on the table. Why I'm not giving this restaurant a 4 or5 star is because of the... More

Went here a few months back. Was so disappointed with the service, which of course can ruin an entire experience. When water spilled all over the table, on accident after the server had placed the food, she looked at it and walked away... only to return and tell us she would bring the 2nd half of our food order, and... Pleasant atmosphere and quaint surroundings. The waitress was excellent and the food tasty, however the time from ordering the meal until served was 30 minutes or more. There was only our table of (2) and one other table of (2) in the restaurant at 12 noon. I would strongly recommend to the owner/manager to reassess your cook's ability to prepare... More
