Love the place, we got 4 packs of seafood boudin, tried one and didn't stop till all 4 packs were gone. You have to understand my wife is a small woman and usually doesn't eat much, but she kept up with me through all 4 packs! Also loved the tasso and everything we've gotten there so far!

We stopped here on our way home and found a treasure. They offer a variety of meats and home canned jars of pickles, peppers, jams and jellies. The staff was friendly and the store was clean.

There are many options but I have found Don's to be the best for fresh fried boudin balls, including ones with pepper jack cheese inside!!

Don's has it all. For sure the best bouidan in and cracklings. This location has specialty sauces, frozen meals and ready to eat foods. We purchased a crab stuffed chicken seasoned and ready to cook. Do not pass this place without stopping

Heard it was the best place in town by the locals. Stopped in for Cracklins but ended up getting a lunch special was consisted of 1/2 BBQ moist chicken (which fell off of the bone) some baked beans, bread, a side of peaches, and a drink. Under $10.00. Saved half of it for dinner. They hooked my plate up. Ended... More

We stopped at Don's once before and thought enough of it to stop again on a late-evening drive back to Texas. I really wish we'd held out for Homsi in Lake Charles or any number of places in Beaumont or Port Arthur. A link of handmade boudin in Texas is about $2 and crackers are typically free--easy peasy. Don's charges... More

If you have never been to Southwest Louisiana and want to try "Authentic Cajun", you need to go to Don's. He has the best boudin and cracklins you will ever taste. In addition, they do daily lunch specials ans also have an extensive selection of local specialty meats and seafood. It is right off I-10 in Scott, LA. You will... More

Don's is a huge place on the south feeder road off I-10 in Scott, LA, which is a few miles west of Lafayette. They offer a great variety of of Louisiana meats, to include alligator, boudain, fresh and smoked sausage, specialty stuffed meats such as chicken or pork chops stuffed with boudain, jambalaya or crawfish, and excellent stuffed bell peppers,... Great selection of different types of Cajun meats. Picked up the 5 lb box of Boudin. If we had just eaten would have gotten some crackling for the ride home cracklin

This is an interesting shop. We got to try Boudin Balls after hearing about this regional specialty sausage. Instead of being a firm sausage it is more soft and pudding like. The flavor is good but the texture was a surprise. Good place to taste a piece of Louisiana.
