Location and contact

We serve award-winning bar food daily, lunch times (noon to 2pm) and evenings (6pm to 10pm) and on SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS and BANK HOLIDAY MONDAYS we are OPEN ALL DAY, serving the bar food menu from noon to 10pm. In the summertime you can sit in our extensive gardens amongst our peacocks and chickens and in the winter, warm yourself by the roaring log fire and marvel at all the unusual items decorating our cosy bar. As from mid-October 2013, we shall be serving the same menu throughout the whole building and tables may be reserved in either the new "Tortoise Room" or "The Old Coach House." As now, the tables in the main bar area and the conservatory are non-reservable. We are long-standing licensees

We both had a different choice of meals and they were both very salty which spoilt an otherwise nicely presented meal. Cut down on the salt please as we both felt ill when we got home.

Best pub, staff and service is exceptional as is the food, delicious. We travel 45 mins to go here because it is so worth it. Great beers, log fires and really nicely decorated. Go here and you will not be disappointed on any level.

They did, but they are now under new management and undergoing extension. I would think they still will. Hope that helped.
