We were in the area visiting friends who live locally so popped in for lunch. We all had one course and the food was alright but not outstanding. I can only comment on my own of course. I had the Thai crab cakes - mediocre I am afraid as they were a bit dry but the chips were very nice.... More

Visited with my husband on a Sunday evening for our anniversary. We were staying at another hotel locally and decided to take a walk down to south queensferry. We have stayed at orocco pier before so decided to go their for our meal. We hadn't booked a table but after a short 10 minute wait at the bar the staff... More

Full of high hopes with a table at the huge picture window looking on to the Forth Railway Bridge on a sunny day.........what could go wrong? We were here for lunch and expected a nice relaxing atmosphere but this was not the case... the restaurant has lots of wood, metal and glass so it is noisy (not helped with music... More

We went to Orocco Pier for dinner on the way to a comedy gig in Fife. We managed to get a seat at the window, which was lovely. My husband and son both ordered the Veggie and nut burger with chips, and I ordered the goats cheese salad, as it was the only obvious option for me (being coeliac). Drinks... More

Visited here for lunch today. Had the chicken burger with fries. Chicken burger slightly overcooked and dry, chips were home cooked and nice. The other 2 in the group had what looked to be very basic mains nothing to rave about. Over all average experience , the food is basically the same as any wetherspoons type place , so if... More

Visit here every couple of months and think it would be nice if the menu changed as I feel it's been the same for a while now ! Lovely setting and this time we even managed a window seat overlooking the forth and the bridges. Attentive friendly staff and a relaxed environment. Always a nice spot for lunch and a... More

Lovely view, disappointing food. Don't believe any of it was freshly made. We ordered fajitas and pasta. The guacamole resembled green insipid gloop from a tex mex dip selection and the salsa must have come from the same pack. The pasta reminded me of supermarket fresh ravioli I've eaten in the past and at almost £11 I was extremely disappointed.... More

Wednesday (15/3/17) I didn't fancy Chinese so driving in silence! I thought safe bet O'Rocco Pier. 14:00 managed to get a window seat with a magnificent view, the Forth was wild spray reaching the terrace. Cool pint of beer went down well. We had starters and mains did I mention that we were hungry? My husband had fish and chips... More
