This is the destination point of the Casco Bay Lines Bailey Island Cruise. A lot of the people on the Cruise were stressing about getting a table when they arrived especially since the parking lot seemed very full. Don't worry (1) The place is bigger...More

We tool the Casco Bay ferry at 10am, arrived at about 11.45am-lunch at noon-back on the ferry at 1.45pm and back in Portland at 3.45pm. What a lovely day to see all these scenic islands and enjoy a traditional Maine lunch. In this large space...More

My wife and I took the Bailey Cruise and arrived at Bailey's Island. When we docked, Cook's lobster & Ale House is immediately on the right. Since this is a daily ritual, Cook's staff was prepared and served us immediately. We ordered the traditional lobster...More

Quaint, busy, delicious. An ideal place to get your taste of Maine. Great lobster, corn on the cob, chowder.

Slow service for a meal with an inedible baked potato and boring french fries. The scallops were passable but not delicious. Did like the cole slaw with a vinegar dressing instead of the usual mayo.

Beyond our young server referring to us all the time as "guys"... my pet peeve, (I am a youthful 75 year old woman), the food at Cook's was mediocre at best. My husband and I both ordered the expensive "Cook's Shore Dinner. The lobsters were...More

The second martini (after the first one went back) was good. The second fried Haddock (the first went back) was dry and not at all flakey. The seafood mac and cheese was very good and the beer was cold. Service was good.
