It was the buffet that helped us decide to eat at Panda but the four of us regretted our decision. Our waiter was pleasant but that is not enough. The food was not delicious and the buffet was very small. Hot tea good and staff pleasant

Small buffet, but really good food and a great deal. Their hot and sour soup is the best! Good chinese take out and eat in dining as well. The owners are very nice.

My husband and I were looking for something different on our last trip to Bangor. We usually get something in the Hogan Rd., Stillwater Ave. area as it is close to where we stay. Decided we wanted Chinese and I went online and found Panda Garden. We opted for take out. My husband and I shared some dishes. It was... More

We had driven by several times and finally decided to stop for dinner one night. We had typical items as from pork fried rice, chicken fingers, crab Rangoon and egg rolls. None of it was hot, the fried food was very greasy. No flavor in the rice and it tasted old.

Eat in or take out the finest Oriental food in the heart of Downtown Bangor. Daily specials showcase the chef's skills.

There were 10 of us in a group. We had the best service and the food came out hot and yummy. Never had to ask for refills on drinks. Waitress was there when we needed her. It was a fantastic experience and would Definately go back for another meal!

This place was highly-reviewed online. I ordered a shrimp and chili lunch special with brown rice and House Special fried rice with brown rice. The shrimp dish had plenty of shrimp, but was drowned out by a weird onion-based sauce that was far too sweet. The fried rice was pathetic. Tiny minced pieces of meat and a few measly pieces... This place has been around a very long time and the food is consistently good. I had the General Tso's chicken which was 'ok' but the rice and steamed vegetables were very good. Service is always good and it's reasonably priced.

My husband and I Spent the night in Bangor to take an early morning flight out. We needed something entirely different from coastal (wonderful) food. So we chose Panda Garden and were very glad we did. His Tangerine beef was delicious , and there was plenty enough to share. I ordered the crispy duck but because my Mandarin speaking waiter... At lunchtime, they have long offered a very manageable buffet. There are about 15 items on it and everything is prepared well. Caveat: they have begun to sweeten the hot and sour soup, which is a terrible idea.
