We stopped by for a late lunch. My companion ordered the lobster roll platter, which included fries, coleslaw and a dill pickle. The lobster roll was served on a hamburger bun and was nicely spiced and tasty. I ordered the mushroom/swiss cheese burger platter and was very satisfied my my selection.

Usual diner fare, my clam chowder had clams from away though.... I thought they may have been canned. I was famished so I gulped them down and was full for the rest of the day... it was piping hot which was nice!

I recommend the blueberry pancakes at Marriner's. The wait can sometimes be long but it is well worth it! Try and get a seat on the patio if possible. Service is quick and always friendly.

Its a diner. The interior was quite dark, so I asked for a table on the patio with a lovely view on a sunny day. The big scoop of lobster meat was fresh and came with basic sliced veggie salad, on a bed of lettuce. Decided to finish with a slice of blueberry pie and ice cream and was a... More

Local place with a nice little patio with a view. Friendly attentive service! As this was toward the end of my travels I opted for a BLT which was excellent! Wish I had room to even consider the dessert offerings because this little local diner probably had some great PIE- but.. Tables are tiny-circa probably 1940's but this a great... More

We discovered this gem by total accident while waiting to meet friends on their boat. My wife had her favorite for lunch-//breakfast; perfectly prepared eggs over easy with bacon. It sounds easy, but how often do you get to eat anything exactly the way you order it? Since it was 1:45, I opted for lunch; a delicious crab salad roll... More

We went here for breakfast based on Trip Advisor reviews. A sign by the entrance sums it up: Down East. Down Home. No Quiche. No ferns. We had blueberry pancakes with the extra charge maple syrup. The servings were ample, but the pancakes were not much to write home about.

Busy, but worth the brief wait for a really nice lunch. House-made chicken noodle soup was great - had the soup/salad combo - the salad was nicer than many house salads I've had in white tablecloth restaurants. My companion had a BLT - prepared 'just the way he likes it". Our waitress was attentive -checked back frequently despite the full... More

That about sums it up. It's a quirky location with nice views. Not what you expect from the street. But our greeting was grumpy. Asked whether we would like to sit in or out and we replied outside please, the waitress just looked at us rolled her eyes and said there are no outside tables available. Why ask the question...
