Nice quiet atmosphere, friendly service with staff that aim to please. The food is fresh and they bring unique flavors to standard comfort food. If you are in North Conway, it's worth taking a small detour to try them out, and don't skip the appetizers they are out of this world. Nice selection of beer and wine, with a full... More

We visit Fryeburg 20 times/year. We had lunch here for the first time, December 2016. The quality of our meals were as high as any of the best restaurants in Portland, Maine. The prices much better. Service perfect and friendly.

This place is JUST SLOW and they don't care. People waiting for tables that no one cleans. No apologies that things took so long. Food was good but 2-1/2hrs is CRAZY.

Fantastically tasty lunch. We both had an amazing clam chowder, the best we've had in travelling for the last six months across America. I had a Philly cheese sandwich and my partner had a turkey club. Both packed with ingredients and served with homemade fries. Both also huge, so enough for dinner tonight as well. The hostess went out of... More

Called in for lunch and enjoyed the British pub decor and the wide choice of meals which were all lovely and of generous proportions. Friendly staff and highly recommended. Good local IPA 'Clearwater' brewed next door.

Clam chowder was amazing, my husbands steak pie was very good, however, I got the combo of Cod, Chicken breast and shrimp. I was very disappointed in the serving size and quality for the price being charged. It was 17 dollars and I got a small piece of cod, 2 small chicken breasts but only 2 small to medium size... Wonderful flavors at this long established pub. The special offerings of local craft beers makes for a hard decision but there are many good choices. The clam chowder is truly one of the best I've had in long years of clam chowder devotion. When the salad of pecans, blue cheese and spinach came, we knew this place had it together!... More

There were 3-4 other people in the pub when we arrived in the middle of the afternoon. We received our food exactly one hour later--a burger and a sandwich. The food was delicious once we finally got it. The fries were the best I have had in ages. Keep up the quality of the food, but maybe get some additional... More

We don't eat out that often, but this had become our favorite local restaurant, due partly to the friendly bartender and partly to the thick, homemade potato chips. We had been there enough to know what to order and what to avoid, but after a busy summer we returned to find the signature chips replaced with another variety--not quite out... More

We ate here twice within our week in Fryeburg. It was so good the first time, we had to go back. Awesome food..you can tell there is a talented chef in the kitchen!
