Great pub, very welcoming people, lovely log fire - and a perfect pint! I'm very critical about beer quality,but the pint served here could not be bettered. The food is also excellent. Can't really say more - very happy chappy!

We had an evening meal at the George during our stay here. Everything cooked fresh and very tasty. A good range of beers and drink at the bar.

I agree with the other respondent, the owner has a nice old dog so I do not see why not. Probably best to ring though so that you can find out if the in house pooch is territorial!!
