A dinner at Hug's usually requires advance reservations. It's a small restaurant and they are always very busy. The food is consistently excellent and stands out in quality over nearly all other on-mountain dining options. My only minor complaint is that in each of my 10+ visits to this restaurant I've experienced some sort of insult or snarky remark from... More

We really like going to this place when we are at Sugarloaf. Great service and amazing food. It's a little pricey, but worth it for especially a special occasion. Most people probably miss it, as you go around the corner on Route 27. Tip: Hug's is really small you will need to make a reservation.

Traditional Italian restaurant located on Route 27 just a few miles south of the Sugarloaf access road. Very informal and intimate with delicious Pasta dishes. We enjoyed their deserts as well.

3 minutes from Sugarloaf and never a disappointment year after year. Great Italian menu. Usually quiet and cozy. Try the chicken limon or the parmegon. Starts out with a tasty garlic bread and then a salad family style. A must if you go to Sugarloaf

My fiancé and I were at Sugarloaf for a couple days and we were looking for a great place to eat. We decided to give Hugs a shot and we are so happy we did! The service was great but the food was incredible. We will definitely be sure to stop here again!

Hugs may not look like much on the outside but don't judge the book by its cover. Inside Hugs is cozy and friendly. And the food is terrific. There is quite an extensive menu with excellent variety. The meals are very well prepared and delicious. What's unique is their pesto bread sticks. We refer to them a "crack" - once... More

Just so cozy and we love the food. Very different Italian dishes, not your routine everyday Italian food.

I pass though SugarLoaf and eat here maybe 3-4 times a year. I was disappointed the last time and not particularly looking forward to going last night with friends. I was very pleasantly surprised. I think the best meal I have ever had here. I had the pasta special, the cannoli was only average. They have a good wine selection... More
